Expensive basic Indian food - Edit
For some reason both doors were locked, so I almost left because I thought it was closed, but a worker opened the door just in time so I did go in and eat. I kinda wish he hadn't, because after eating a large and expensive meal (about $80 for one person, no alcohol), I stopped by the coffee shop next door and discovered they had vegan food options. They weren't on Happy Cow so I didn't know about them, but I'm going to add them now!

Great Indian! - Edit
Loved our meal here considering how difficult it is to find vegan food in the Bahamas. Expensive as at any restaurant here, so fairly good value considering the local price levels!

Yummy, but expensive. - Edit
Likes the food here, they even had vegan naan. The price was insane considering this was basic Indian food though!

Very good food - Edit
Hubby and I shared three dishes: mushroom pilau rice, Tarka Dahl, and saag aloo. Everything was really good. We asked for medium spicy and it had a bite; could have been a little spicier but all in all the food was really good, especially the saag aloo (spinach and potatoes). Yes, it’s expensive but everything else here is so... highly recommend!

Great host - Edit
First time I went, they were low on staff and very busy. However being on vacation we decided to keep our relaxed theme. We waited and the woman who helped us was the owners daughter.

I was pleased to meet her and her father who owns the restaurant.
The food was AMAZING. The naan perfect and my favorite the spicy mushroom. The servings are big enough to split and we ended up going back.
A favorite for sure!
Pros: Great food, Nice hosts, Indian music
Cons: Meat

Great Indian food - Edit
A very cozy little place somewhat off the usual tourist paths but worth the detour. The staff is very accommodating and help you find vegan options on the menu and the food is great.

Good vegan options - Edit
My wife and I found this to be a welcome sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of the tourists further down the hill. The staff was well informed about vegan foods and offered several tempting options. The dal was especially good!
