Really great!!

Really great find in Edinburgh. Food was tasty, not too pricey for portion sizes, and friendly helpful staff. Highly recommend!

OK but expensive and the menu didn't inspire

I wasn't overly impressed with the menu. The bagel I had was nice enough but nothing to write home about. Most of the options were simply veganised meat dishes and that's not my personal preference. The staff were very friendly and it's good that it's 100% vegan.

Pros: Friendly staff, 100% vegan, It has a nice atmosphere

Cons: It's a bit pricey for what it is

Busy place

We enjoyed our food very much! Busy place. Next time we will get here before 12 to try pancakes and like the sound of the recommended hot choc too. Consider reserving your table as we were lucky to be able to be seated! Our highlight was the vegan shrimp

Pros: Friendly and efficient

So edible

Probably the best vegan hot chocolate I’ve ever had! (Biscoff). Really enjoyed the vegan breakfast, nice not to see vegan haggis and black pudding on the menu. Friendly staff. Would eat there regularly if we were local.

Amazing place but felt rushed

We came here for our anniversary last week. The food was great especially if you like big burgers. We really enjoyed the food and the restaurant was set up really cute! I especially loved the light up vegan sign! Although the only disappointment was that we ordered our starters and mains and they vertically came out all together so didn’t give us chance to eat jt. Also come the end of our meal they were cleaning up around us and stacking the chairs on the tables that were empty so we felt super rushed like we had to leave. It ruined the meal a little. But overall it was lovely to find a fully vegan restaurant which was nice but not my favourite. We arrive at 8pm so if I were you I’d go earlier as we didn’t realised but the kitchen shuts at 8.30 which is kinda early, so many this is why all our food came out at the same time.

Amazing

This place was the first stop we made in Edinburgh and so glad we did! I had the vegan eggs benny and my boyfriend had a breakfast muffin.. both simply beautiful. I could eat their eggs benny every day! We also had two smoothies which tasted delicious. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back!

Pros: All vegan , Beautiful food , Great staff

Amazing Café

I had a lovely birthday meal there! The smoothies are a good option when it comes to drinks. And the Asian bowl was the best thing I have eaten for a while!

Pros: Fantastic food!, Great cakes!, Lovely service!

Favourite spot

The menu is quite small but varied so everyone can find something for their taste. Recently had the full vegan breakfast and it still blows my mind how good their scrambled tofu is. The cakes are heavenly and go great with their coffee. Good balance of healthy and cheeky dish options. The cafe itself is quite cosy though a bit cramped but the atmosphere and the lovely staff surely make up for it.

Pros: Variety of options, Flavourful, Cake cake cake

Tasty food, nice atmosphere

My girlfriend had the asian inspired bowl and I had a hot dog with mac and cheese. Both were great options (one of them healthier for sure 😂)

We wanted to eat there again one evening but apparently the kitchen closes around eight (or eight and a half, cannot remember) which is super, super early for us but might be normal for Scotland?

Pros: Lovely place , Not huge but varied menu

Cons: Closes quite early unfortunately

Tasty

Lovely place with a great selection of food! Wraps, Bowls, Mac n’ Cheese, Shrimp and Calamari alternatives.

Menu has a lot of ‘meat substitutes’ if that’s your thing.

Pros: Lots of tasty options, Service is friendly

Vegan breakfast heaven

This is a beautiful place and I love the decor. We went for the breakfast menu (10am-12pm) and had the full breakfast. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. The tofu scramble was SO good and I need the recipe. We also took some cake home and wow, beautiful flavours and textures 💚

Pros: 100% vegan

Wonderful breakfasts!

We travelled up from the vegan wasteland of the borders on the promise of an amazing vegan breakfast -AND WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED!!!
The full vegan and the benny were of especial note. Breakfast pancake and muffins also amazing. You have to try the house yolk sauce and smoky bacon. Would consider moving here to have this on my doorstep! Also very friendly and welcoming staff. Thank you!

Pros: Great choice for brunch/breakfast. , Lovely coffee.

Cons: No cons.

Brilliant place

This place was amazing. I am visiting friends in Edinburgh and we went here last night. We were very hungry by the time we arrived so, instead of going for one of the bowls as planned, we were craving something more so ordered burgers and a side of mac&cheese to share. I am normally not super into burgers but it was absolutely delicious, humongous and so filling. I chose the ABC burger and I definitely recommend it. The avocado just added something to it and the bacon was great too. I ordered smokey fries and they were really good too. We enjoyed the mac &cheese too but one of us thought it was a bit too garlicky (not me!), so be aware if you don't love that. I have to say, it's very greasy! My stomach is not used to that so I feel like half of the meal would probably have been enough 😂 but I would do it all again because it was so good. And it feels like ordering a burger grease is kind of what you sign up to.
The waitresses were super nice and attentive! We ended up sharing a piece of cake at the end too, there were so many to choose from! So many things on the menu sounded great and I think we might come for brunch on my next trip up!

Pros: Everything is vegan, Tons of interesting options, Wonderful staff

Yum! Yum! Yum!

100% vegan restaurant. We had the Mac Doggy Dog - a giant hotdog smothered in macaroni cheese - totally delicious. Also Beyond Barbecue burger fully satisfied our one omnivore. Cakes looked yummy, but alas, too full to try! Recommend this place without reservation. Even came with the added entertainment of someone walking into a restaurant that states outside ‘Proud to be 100% vegan’ and asking for something ‘normal’ because ‘most places have something normal’. 🤣 Nothing ‘normal’ here - just 100% delicious vegan food! 😍😍😍

Pros: All vegan, Delicious , Lovely place

Cons: None

Best meal in Edinburgh

After being disappointed in other restaurants, this was a nice change! I ordered the beyond cheese burger, and while there was a mixup in my order when it got to the table (it happens), it was quickly rectified. Staff was super nice as well and it is reasonably priced.

Pros: All vegan, tasty burgers, gluten free options

Seriously Good Place

Came here during a weekend away to Edinburgh. One of my favourite things to do when away is check out the local vegan places and thank god we tried here because it was absolutely top notch. Food was delicious; massive burgers stuffed with all sorts of toppings, really friendly staff and a nice atmosphere inside (bit hipstery as a lot of vegan places are). I also liked how at the end you could give a small 3% donation towards planting trees too, great idea.

Would recommend to anyone and will gladly return in the future.

Pros: Loads of choice , Nice location, They help plant trees

10/10 best vegan breakfast 🌱

My boyfriend and I were looking for vegan cafes which offered great choices for brunch and breakfast, we were delighted to find one in Edinburgh on our last day in Scotland! Unfortunately the eggs benedict were not available as take away but they looked unbelievable! We both ordered the breakfast muffin and two breakfast bagels which were sensational! We even went back to order some smoothies for the road! The pancakes coated in syrup and fruit was a great treat! 10/10 would recommend! Best vegan breakfast I have ever had!

Pros: Lots of breakfast and brunch options , Generous portions , Great presentation

Cons: Was not open for indoor seating (take away only), Does not open until 10:00
