Tasty food and amazing service - Edit
We especially loved the red curry dish. Hummus was very good as well. Good coffee with oat milk. The service was absolutely perfect - we were truly happy we chose this place!

Good vegan range - Edit
Good food although an over-use of tempeh. I wouldn’t choose the tempeh blocks again but we enjoyed the stuffed tofu in black bean sauce and the red curry (although odd to contains Brussels sprouts). They do desserts but we were full. Took biscotti home with us. No alcohol served.

Absolutely fantastic!! - Edit
I came here with my dad and aunt, who are not vegan and pretty skeptical of vegan food, and we all LOVED it!! We came 10 minutes before the kitchen closed (Happy Cow hours were wrong), but the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Our food was fantastic. My only regret is that I didn't order any dessert. Their chocolate cake looked amazing. I will definitely come here again.

Best vegan resto/café on the island - Edit
Root vegan is my go to for a quick healthy vegan meal. It has a chill casual vibe with outdoor seating, and it is quite popular among expats. They also have amazing delicious desserts! I recommend to check it out!

Very nice but insanely expensive - Edit
The food was good but the portions were way too small for the price, the staff was lovely but again we paid around 40€ per person for dinner and dessert which is just way too much for what it was in the end

Delicious Meal - Edit
I went here with my non-vegan parents and we all really enjoyed it. Everything was really fresh and flavorful, and staff was kind and patient. We had just arrived from the US earlier in the day and were all a bit mentally out of it, so we needed the patience haha. My dad is pretty veg-skeptical and he said he would happily return. Black sesame latte, Thai red curry with drumsticks, and Japanese rice in soup were favorites. The drumsticks especially were really, really good. It is a little pricey by HK cafe standards but by the standards I’m used to (US East Coast) it is really quite reasonable. I like to try mostly new spots when I visit HK but will probably be returning here since it was such a hit with my family.

Great lunch break in Central - Edit
I had a rainbow bowl, pumpkin soup, and coffee for 160hkd in total. The place was busy, but the staff remained smiley and friendly. Food felt very natural and tasty. Great! Will return. #Veganuary

Great place! - Edit
Great place! Absolutely loved the red curry!! Also the Khao Soi was very nice as well as the starters. Staff is happy and super friendly. Good vibe and a must visit for all vegetarians/vegans. Restaurant might be a bit difficult to find. It is situated on the first floor. When you see the sign, enter the door to the left, take the stairs and you’ll find it to your right hand 🙏🏽

Disappointed - Edit
I came to the cafe after reading all the great reviews and was actually disappointed. The staff is friendly, can't say anything about the staff. But the portions were so small and the charges were so high, I paid a lot for my food there and left hungry. Also, the building itself is very basic, the toilet in the building was so too basic and lacked cleaningness, yet the prices were like you're at a top restaurant, so the experience didn't match for me. The portion size definitely needs to be much bigger and the menu could be revamped. I love to support vegan places and I wish this cafe all the best, however I would not return there again personally.

3.5 if I could do half stars - Edit
First place we came to in HK due to very high reviews. I hope we find better places while we are here. The food had some hits and some misses. Rundown:
Read more* Tempeh bites (recommended by staff). Meh. If you love tempeh, sure, but otherwise meh. 2/5.
* seaweed tuna toast. One of the better dishes! Quite good. 4.5/5.
* mixed entree platter. Decent. 3.5/5.
* Dan Dan linguine. Interesting fusion dish. 4/5.
* red curry. Was alright - some veggies undercooked. Nothing special about it. 3.5/5.
* mapo tofu hummus. Unexpected hit. 5/5.
Fairly expensive for HK too. Corkage was also insanely expensive, more than the wine cost.
Pros: Service was excellent

Excellent Vegan Food in HK - Edit
I can see why this is top rated vegan restaurant in Hong Kong. Everything I tried was fantastic! I ordered the Northern Thai Curry Noodles, and then ordered the following “To Share” plates for takeaway: Fried Meatball on Lettuce Cup, Fried Mini Tempeh Blocks with Three Dipping Sauce, Seaweed Tuna Toast with Truffle Mayo, Thai Appetizer Platter. If I were staying in HK for a longer period of time, I would have visited multiple times!

Walked past this place a few times without realising. It is above street level up some stairs that look like they only lead to residential. Tried the Hong Kong style “pork chop” with rice. Was very delicious. Will be going back.

It was my second time there and tried their daily special. The Korean kimchi cream linguine was delicious! The first time I got their signature Khao Soi so that’s what brought me back and I’m so glad I did!

First of all I loved the little balcony you can sit on and people watch. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, they speak good English. The portion I ordered was so big, I don’t know how people manage to eat the whole menu deal, for my liking there could’ve been a little more sauce to the rice.

Tasty - Edit
Fluent English spoken; English menu. Creative menu with unique flavors. The restaurant is on the second floor so if using Google maps, pay attention to the building number and walk into the building - kinda feels like an apartment building entrance.
