Customer Service Needs Work - Edit
My family and I were in town for a few days from Georgia (this experience happened 8/28/20) and were looking for a good spot for some vegan food. This was not our first choice (we originally were going to a spot inside Lexington market- that may not be the name anymore but that’s what it was called years ago when I lived in MD and worked at the DNA lab across the street).
Read moreWhen my daughter and I walked in, a guy was sitting at the counter evidently on the phone taking an order. He looked at us and continued to sit in silence listening to the caller for FIVE MINUTES. I could see two people in the back who weren’t doing anything and finally after making eye contact with a female in the back, she came to the front and said something to the guy about taking my order. Eventually he put the call on hold and took our order. Honestly that is the only negative thing I have to say about this place. I opted not to get anything but my daughter ordered their “cheezesteak sub” and chocolate chip cookies. She loved the sub and thought the cookies were “ok”. I would have given 3 stars because good customer service is EVERYTHING to me but my daughter insisted I give them 4. I believe in second chances so we may try again when we’re in town.

Chick’un sandwich! - Edit
Stopped here after another vegan place was closed. So glad I did!!
Read moreChick’un sandwich was awesome! Crispy! (Next time I’ll ask if they can add a spicier sauce to it.)
Ordered loaded mac to try. Delicious too, but after the sandwich, too full to eat much of it. Leftovers for later! Winning!
It was crowded, but guy at the front was very nice and apologetic. Don’t apologize for being busy! They were hustling to get orders out, so can’t fault them for it at all. I wait 60 mins for a 60 ride at Disney, I can wait a bit for great vegan food. Worth the wait!
Pros: All vegan , Good food , Modern, clean

Decent.. - Edit
It’s a bit harder to rate places during covid because they aren’t able to offer you the normal / full experience. I ordered take out in person. When i got there it took a minute for the staff to notice me. No one else was there as a customer at the time. The person who did was super nice and helpful. Food came out pretty quick. My breading didn’t stick to my shrimp like shown in another picture on here. I used to buy the Yves ones when they were out and dig them but yes it’s an acquired taste or texture! I liked the cocktail sauce. My philly wrap was pretty bland, would pick something else if I went again.
Read morePros: Good selection of food , Vegan shrimp! , Vegan anything! Nice menu boards too.
Cons: Everything is pricy these days I guess but, yeah , Bland wrap , Covid, but that’s not their fault!

TRY THE COOKIES - Edit
Me and my husband were roadtripping down from CT on the way to NC and had to stop off the highway to this amazing black owned vegan restaurant!! Food came out super fast and absolutely delicious. My hub is not vegan and he said the choc chip cookies were the best cookies be ever had period. Also; the mac is amazing! Vegan chik sandwich is absolutely massive, a bit greasy but definitely satisfying! I still have to try the vegan wings and philly ( we are so stuffed from the chik sandwich) but i bet theyll be amazing

Was so happy to find this place. The food is delicious. They have vegan shrimp which is hard to find and something I love. It is a family run establishment that has great atmosphere and music. They cookies and burgers are amazing as well as the nuggets and Mac N cheese. You have to give them a try.

Wings wings wings - Edit
I loved their bbq wings. The texture was perfect, crispy outside, meaty inside. They’re famous for their Mac and cheese- which was flavorful but I’m not a fan. The texture felt too gooey/ slimy for me. I like the Mac and cheese from Land of Kush better.

Best Mac and Cheese Ever - Edit
I have only tried their vegan Mac and Cheese because I went there too late and that was all they had left, so they gave me the large bowl for the price of the small one! It's hands down the best Mac and Cheese I've ever had. I can't wait to try the rest!

So glad we stumbled on this one! We tried the vegan wings (crispy with great sauce!) , the vegan shrimp (how do they get the texture so perfect???) and the Chicken cheesesteak & MacNCheese. Both great! (Mac is peppery) Great food & friendly folks!!

Best vegan fried “Chicken” sandwich in Baltimore! - Edit
Their vegan fried “chicken” sandwich is amazing. I wish I had ordered more to go! Mac and cheese was different than the usual heavy creamy tofu Mac and cheese (which I love); this was different and a pleasant surprise. More cheesy than heavy. BBQ wings were awesome. Similar to drummies at NuVegan. I’ll try the buffalo sauce next time.

Atmosphere is modern, warm, and friendly. The food is to die for. The chicken sandwich, shrimp wrap, burgers, fries, and now wings are the best I've had. I frequent this establishment because I am big on customer service and product and this place is a 5 star on both.

MAC & CHEESE - Edit
The Mac & Cheese is heaven sent. I was visiting Baltimore for a weekend and stopped in before heading back home to have the chikn sandwich and Mac & cheese... I had to order a large to take back home because it was amazing! Can’t wait to visit again while in Baltimore.

Enjoyable - Edit
I went here for lunch and decided to try a few different items (fried shrimp wrap, truffle fries, mac n cheese) - loved every last item. They do offer salads but I was in the mood for some fried goodness. This scratched the itch! The staff was very friendly and I enjoyed the background music. My friend pointed out that they had ample outlets for phone charging and do recycle (an earlier review stated that they didn’t).

Really good! - Edit
I ordered the chicken salad and the Mac n Cheese with cheesesteak. The chicken has a good, crispy texture and the meat easily shreds! The Mac n cheese is creamy, has flavor, and the steak had a nice glaze. My only complaint is the portion size, I ordered a large and it’s container was the size of a small at most food establishments. I would have ordered something entree size if I had known how little it was.

Cons: Smaller portions, Hours are mislabeled on here and maps application

10/10 for everything - Edit
I am literally shook at how realistic their vegan shrimp was - the wrap I got was amazing. My boyfriend got the impossible cheeseburger and it was probably the best version of the impossible burger I've had to date. Also the mac n cheese we shared was so good - very well spiced (as my boyfriend said, it tasted noticeably different and fresher than boxed mac n cheese).

No recycling!! Junk food vegan - Edit
If you're a junk food vegan, then you will like this place. I personally really dislike processed vegan meats-- they're just as bad for you as anything else that is processed. They don't really make their own food-they serve Beyond and Impossible meats with Daiya cheese. Impossible burgers are nasty to me. If you're looking for vegan shrimp wraps, sausages, burgers and Mac and cheese, I still wouldn't go here, I would go to Grub Factory. The food is ok, but not outstanding. Additionally, THE DO NOT RECYCLE, but most of their carryout containers and drinks are PLASTIC and will go to the landfill. SMH.

Not my taste - Edit
They have a lot of comfort food that I know many people find very yummy. It just isn't my style though, most of their stuff seems like it comes from a package, is covered in Daiya cheese (or something like it) etc. Just not the type of food I'd expect when I'm paying for it at a restaurant. to me it isn't adding anything new to the equation. But I know there are a lot of people who love and crave this kind of food so I mean no disrespect.

Yummy eats in a cool space - Edit
Dropped by on opening night to check this place out. Has a pleasant chat with the owner who was so friendly and welcoming. We ordered the truffle fries, Mac and cheese ( which won a local competition a few years ago), Italian sausage (get it with onions, mushrooms and peppers) and the cheesesteak wrap - all were delicious. The space itself is modern and inviting. Owner said that he plans to add a juice bar and will serve alcohol in the future so look for this place to grow and expand. Nice vibe.
