Awesome vegan kebabs

The kebab meat they use here is so tasty, this is one of my fav restaurants to eat at in Amsterdam. Very quick service, strong drinks too. Cheese filled spring rolls are a must try.

Pros: Great fake meat, Very filling

Pretty Good

Very similar to Vegan Junk Food Bar in taste. Bread is reaaallly heavy so you're leave feeling (maybe a bit too?) full. Don't skip the Baklava - it's my very favorite part of eating here. You get a little platter of bites of different baklavas. If you're not into spicy stuff, be sure to ask them to leave off the sriracha sauce as it really is spicy.

Pros: nice beer selection, filling

Feelgood dinner

We were with a group of five and had different choices. We all liked it very much. Great taste, very friendly staff and good price!

Great doner kebab

Big portion of super grilled charred vegan meat with sriracha and a vegan cream sauce. Tasty, filling, and super good. We watched the World Cup at the bar and had a great time at the bar. There was a ping pong table in the back with a bunch of people playing and having a good time.

Nice vibe

So, another restaurant by the people who brought us the Vegan Junk Food Bar. This is a very similar sort of concept, a small menu of tasty junk food, but this one with vegan kebabs instead of burgers. It's very similar in taste to VJFB, which makes sense I guess, lots of good sauces and flavourings and a really good kapsalon. You can't really go wrong. It's not in anyway healthy and you will feel kinda sick if you finish the whole portion, but hey, that's ok now and then, right? The inside is bright and colourful - lots of bright yellow, pink and black and they have ping pong in the back room, which is great, but don't sit too near when you eat, unless you don't mind the odd ping pong ball landing in your fries. The only thing that sits slightly uncomfortably with me is that the owners of this and VJFB are not vegans so all the 'live cruelty-free' stuff everywhere is kind of aggravating. I know there's lots of vegan places run by non vegans and of course, it's great to have more delicious vegan places to encourage the movement, but this chain's dominance of vegan spots in Amsterdam seems like a slight shame. They're just slick restaurant guys, that's why they do so well. With the Weedburger Joint round the corner, who are all committed vegans, I personally would choose to go there instead. This place and other VJFBs are still great though and I'm definitely glad they exist.

Huge!

This place is like a bar which is what we expected since we saw it was the owners of Vegan Junk Food Bar. There are 2 ping pong tables and a foosball table. It costs money to use the balls. There's outside seating, picnic table style.

We ordered the kebab and some waffle fries. The kebab was huge. We thought the seitan was a tiny bit dry but not too much to take away from overall flavor. Bread was good too. The waffle fries were great (but it's hard to mess those up).

We don't drink alcohol much but there seemed to be some local drinks on there.

Delicious

Had loaded fries, chicken nuggets and baklava. Everything was great. I also go to vegan junk food bar often so it was pretty similar, but the kebab 'meat' is different than the shawarma 'meat' from VJFB and in my opinion better. Love the food here. Definitely try the chicken nuggets.

Pros: Delicious

Cons: Slightly expensive

Cool place

Fast food joint with a very nice interior and good food. Selection of food is limited, but I didn't mind - at least it doesn't act like some kind of high level restaurant. They have 2 table tennis tables in the back. Very cool concept.
4* just because it doesn't seem right to rate it the same as e.g. Amsterdam's Vegan Junk Food Bar.

Pros: Tasty junk food, Table tennis!, Interior design

Cons: Limited selection of food

Loved it!

I LOVED Kebabi! It is owned by the same person who has the Vegan Junk Food Bar, so the look and feel is kind of the same (good vibe, same type of interior, nice music and obviously delicious food).

Their menu is relatively small, which makes sense as this is a place specifically for kebab. I ordered the 'kebabi' which truly was delicious. It's quite a big sandwich, but nothing too oversized. It was truly delicious and did not have that greasy aftertaste.

The place has ping pong tables, so it's perfect for a night out for drinks, good food and some laughs.

10/10 will go again!

Pros: Delicious food, Good vibe

Bad service, cold food.

Went there for the opening and not only was there generally bad service and my order was forgotten after ordering first time, but afterwards when I got the food it was cold. Also considering it's 10 euros for a Kebabi it's very average. The interior is nice though, reminiscent of vegan junkfoodbar.
