Delicious - Edit
Was a little pricy, but honestly after an exhausting night bus I need something good and this hit the spot. I had the scrambled tofu breakfast and it was exactly what I was looking for, no compromise on flavor and spices, mixed with some vegetables also. The atmosphere of the place is very cool and there isn’t much I could fault, maybe some bread with my scrambled tofu would have been nice (I assumed it would be served with it but it wasn’t) but minor issue, easy to ask for some.

I ate here everyday of my trip! - Edit
I’m not joking, I ate here everyday. Sometime for both breakfast and lunch. I loved the tofu scramble and the Barbra Streisand smoothie for breakfast. Plus could get a fresh delicious juice. They also had vegan pancakes. Now on to lunch. I roasted between the burger and the truffle pasta. Both were excellent but the truffle was next level. You can’t beat spending the morning in old town! Fun fact there is an old Never finished Orthodox Church hidden in a court yard directly behind the restaurant that is worth taking a look at, two doors to the left of the restaurant look for the door way with the little cross at the top. Walk in and around the corner head up the stairs to the revel the view! It’s super cool.

Fab interior and food - Edit
Throughly enjoyed the pasta with tomato and “pesto” that was made vegan as well as the beetroot risotto, both tasty and good generous serves. This wasn’t the cheapest place to eat, however I didn’t mind as the atmosphere and quality of the food was fantastic.
Read moreThe interior of this place was nice and relaxing too, with plants and vines all over the interior walls.

Pros: Lots vegan options, Friendly staff, Chilled and cosy

Classy Vegan Restaurant - Edit
I found most restaurants in Split with vegan/vegetarian options to be pretty casual. If you’re looking for something a bit special this is the place. Great atmosphere and lovely staff. The food is delicious too and well presented. A great experience all round.

Delicious - Edit
The interior was beautiful - leaves/plants everywhere with little hanging lights, it was lovely. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, we'd come back here again just for the Amelia Earhart (yummy tomato sauce with pesto and thick chunky spaghetti like strips of pasta).. that description maybe didn't sell it, but trust me, it's tasty!!!!

Great plant based restaurant - Edit
It's our favourite restaurant on our trip through Croatia. Very delicious food, almost everything is vegan. Starters are really good, we also chose the burger and homemade truffle noodles. The price is definitely worth it! Staff is extremely friendly. Everything was perfect!

No tap water? - Edit
Beautiful starters, but a lot of salt in the main courses. We think it’s strange that the restaurant will not serve tap water when we know Croatian water is safe, this doesn’t match with eco principles.

Super good veganized local food - Edit
I really enjoyed my meal here! It's a good chance to try some spin on local food. The ambience is really nice as well. It gets super busy so try to get there early or reserve before 8pm.

My new favorite place - Edit
The atmosphere is great, the decor cool and the food delicious. I tried the homemade truffle mushroom pasta, which is definitely worth the splurge! At first we were a bit disappointed with the dessert choices, but decided to try the dried fruit balls and they were actually super delicious! They go especially well with an espresso. Can’t wait to come back!

Something fishy about this place... - Edit
Limited menu for food items. Juices and smoothies were fresh and tasty. Food portions were small. Strangely, the restaurant is right by a morning fish market! The smell was appalling! Also next door to a meat shop with big hunks of dead animals hanging from the ceiling.

Good vegan options - Edit
Stumbled onto this whilst walking around and it’s a bit on a pricey side so I had two starters - cabbage soup (tastes better than sounds;)) and hummus. Lacked a bit of seasoning for me but hummus portion was descent which made up for small soup portion.

A bit disappointed - Edit
Went there two times during my stay in Split. At my first visit I had the vegan version of the pasta, which was really good and also looked stunning on the plate. Decided to go again for breakfast, as they had vegan „American pancakes with agave syrup and fruits“ on the card. Had to wait a bit as kitchen wasn’t ready, and when it arrived it were just two big pancakes ok top of each other with some read sauce. I asked where the fruits were, and was told that they are in the agave syrup on top. If that’s really how it’s supposed to be served, please fix in card, as it’s pretty misleading. Also, the second pancake had pretty much no syrup left and so it wasn’t really enjoyable to eat. And they also charge you extra for plant based milk (separately on bill, almost as expensive as the Cappuccino!). I get that they sometimes do that in normal restaurant, but they even advertise as plant based...

Great food, limited options - Edit
Great food, but only 3 entrees are veganizable and the waiter highly recommended against one of the three. So limited options. But, great service and the homemade pasta is phenomenal.

sadly kinda disappointing - Edit
so this is the first time i'm writing a kind of negative review on happy cow, and let me tell you it takes alot for me to not be pleased. Weirdly enough the staff was not so riendly to me and i don't know why, I kinda felt ignored. (I even had to go up to them one time because they didn't notice that I wanted to pay for a solid 10 mins). generally they seemed pretty stressed and unorganized (it's okay maybe a bad day i got, can happen). I was alone and got seated inside, a group of people came after me and they got their menu first, then later ln they realized I still haven't goten the menu to order.
Read moreThe menu is mostly vegeterian and not vegan, the vegan dishes are pretty limited. the main dishes only have like 2/3 vegan options and they aren't anything special.
I wanted to order the Betroot Ristotto (which is vegeterian but it sais you can also oder it vegan) the waitress told me it's better to order something else because the portion would be very bland and small without the cheese, so I got the gnochi with tomato sauce, which looked very nice but the taste was honestly nothing special.
I went home kinda sad and disappointed , such a shame sine the place looks rly lovely and has good potential for alot more vegan option.
I really hope they can improve on that in the future

Disappointing for vegans. Staff friendly but uninformed. Not plant based. - Edit
We sought this place out and the decor was great. It's advertised as plant based. The menu is small and the only properly vegan dish (chick pea burger) was unavailable. So we had to have the vegan options on pasta which meant removing items (not replaced with others). The waitress didn't know which wines were vegan and couldn't understand why all wines aren't. She went to ask another waiter who gave a sullen shrug. She then said they are all vegan but we didn't trust this so didn't have. We essentially had pasta and tomato or mushroom sauce... ok but really not living up to the hype. The place is cute. The waitress was friendly and it felt like she was trying hard to make up for everything else but we wouldn't go again it was no easier than going to the pizza/ outside restaurants in Split and there are also a few vegan food stalls that do seem to cater better for vegans.
Read morePros: Pleasant waitress, Nice looking place, Food ok taste wise
Cons: Very few vegan - each has to be adapted , Staff don't know why wine isn't always vegan, Old fashioned e.g chickpea burger

Insulting - Edit
After arriving August 3 around 21:50, I said to the server with the unibrow, "table for one, please." Then he said I would have to wait about five minutes or so for a spot inside to clear up (but said I could order drinks.) When I pointed out a small table outside that had two seats, he said that it was for two people and then sat a couple down at that table who were behind me in line. After waiting for a while, he presented me with a table that also had two seats but was inside. I asked him how it was that the table outside with two seats was a table for two but the table inside with two seats is a table for one. It would appear that they either don't want people being seen in front of the restaurant dining by themselves and/or think two-seater tables outside are too valuable to give to a single person. I turned around and left.

Good - Edit
The food and the service was good as well as the atmosphare. They had the sign "plant based" written everywhere which was pretty misleadning since that was not the case. Despite that it was good.
