Flavors that bring pleasure to your taste buds!

First trip to Tampa. No matter your taste the chef at Nana's will satisfy you with beyond delicious cooking! So...fresh and full of flavor!
Amazing! Thanks so much for every bite! I could eat here every day. In addition friendly staff. Large shaded and sunny out door seating! Very casual atmosphere.

Delicious!!!

Small, vibrant stand-alone restaurant in Tampa with cheerful decor. Ordered empanadas (get the large ones), carrot tuna sandwich, zucchini lasagna, BBQ cauliflower sandwich and two smoothies and they were all really well made and tasty! I couldn't believe how much I enjoyed the carrot tuna (a dish I've never seen before), which was moist and just fabulous. Note: seating is limited but I think there's more in the back. It's a gem; I can't wait to go back!

Delicious and nutritious

Nana’s makes raw food taste as good if not better than what you get in fast food style joints. I highly recommend trying them out!

Incredibly Good

I had a ginger pine smoothie and for a starter a walnut meat empanada. Shared a very large stew special. It was curried chickpeas with a good portion of rice and plantains. I enjoyed everything thoroughly.
The proprietor was pleasant and enthusiastic. We stopped by for lunch a short time after they opened and I watched a steady flow of customers come through even though the location was well off the beaten tourist path. I can only imagine that he has a devoted number of local customers which is always a good sign. Fortunately for diehard vegan foodies like myself they also over a 5 mile free delivery zone which reaches into more frequented areas. #Veganuary

Nice curry special, great menu

We got takeout walnut meat empanada and the daily special vegan curry with a side of plantain, salad and cabbage. Delicious! Enjoyed the meal on the river walk #Veganuary

Great plant-based food

I had a great jackfruit sandwich in Nov 2023. The flavors were exellent. Menu changes daily. The smoothies were delicious.

I didnt know what to expect

But I was blown away. The food was soooo good. I got the "crab cakes" and they were perfections. Salad was so fresh and crave worthy.

Smoothie heaven

Incredible greens smoothie was perfection. Made with love. The carrot toona did not disappoint. The flavor was phenomenal. The bread and added sweetness to the sandwich was incredible.

Small happy place

Friendly, social atmosphere. Friendly staff..

Not sure how Happy Cow comes to the conclusion that a place with one table and two chairs is the top vegan restaurant in a large city like Tampa. Do better happy cow.

Meal of the day is kinda expensive at $17.
Either way, the place is worth a visit for a quick tasty snack or if you want to splurge on a meal of the day.

Pros: Friendly staff, Happy vibe, Empanadas are very good.

Cons: Limited seating, Meal of the day is expensive @ $17, Small place

Love the meal of the day!

Delicious daily meal option, always with lots of yummy veggies. Today was lentils, cauliflower, samosas, beets, rice, and salad. One of the best I’ve had!

Insanely good food

Small quaint restaurant. Food and service are over the top! 100% will come again. Love they have a daily changing menu, but home made empanadas seem to be on the menu daily.

Pros: All vegan, Dominican flare, Fantastic service

Cons: Moderately priced , Small menu - but good!

So stoked for their full

I’m so excited for their full menu to debut! We got two empanada that were better than any I’ve ever had…and I’ve had a lot! And the papa rellena was so good too. We only got one pic after ordering two more empanadas in addition to the first two we had and papa rellena.

Amazing service and delicious food!

Found this random gem and decided to give it a try as my fiancé is vegan. We absolutely loved the meal of the day plus an empanada! Would 100% recommend giving this place a try. The two staff members which I believe are the owners were incredibly nice! Will be back for another meal!
