Vegan afternoon tea! - Edit
It was very good value for the price and the food was all round pretty good. I think the sandwiches were the best part and some of the desserts were a bit of a miss. I thought the chai tasted a bit burnt, but my friend likes hers. Overall one to try if you want an Indian vegan afternoon tea!

Masala Dosa was really tasty - Edit
The Masala Dosa I had was great. I definitely preferred the more peppery sauce over the creamier one, but it didn’t take away from the dish. I went on a Saturday and got right in but they were pretty busy so the less than super-fast service was understandable.
Read more*Edit* to add that I'm from the US and this was the first place I ate in the UK. Since then I realize the cultural differences in wait/service experiences and this place was perfectly within the accepted norms.

Shame it's gone veggie to vegan - Edit
Disappointed to hear this was a vegan restaurant that added dairy. Went for the afternoon tea which seemed decent value at £29.95 per person for starters, sandwiches, desserts and a hot drink. Also added welcome mojitos for £6. Some of the food was pretty spicy, but it was a nice mix and good to have an alternative afternoon tea and try lots of different things. The best bits were the chicken wrap, samosa, and shortbread cookie.

Amazing food - Edit
Really lovely food. We had the butter Masala made vegan and the Chana masala with rice and a butter Naan. Gorgeous. My 9 year old is already asking when we can go back. Sadly we are not local.

Tasty Vegan Jain Thali - Edit
An absolutely fantastic vegan Jain thali (which was perfect as I am allergic to onions) and a vegan cheese dosa. Brilliant service, great location - we will definitely be back soon. Omnom is hopefully opening in Wales soon too!

Solid Indian option - Edit
We were looking for an option on Sunday evening and we're glad to find a table here. There was still quite some space.
Read moreService was very fast and attentive.
We had the love to share platter (with beet root kebap, Aloo bonda, samosa and chickn bites), which was okay. The masala dosa was very tasty, our favourite! The gobi manchurian was tasty but a bit much of the same so we were glad we could share the dishes.

A bit bland - Edit
The food looked really good, but disappointed a lot in terms of taste. It felt bland, especially by Indian standards. Service was nice, though.

Seems to be getting less vegan - Edit
All the food was tasty, though a little spicy. I particularly enjoyed the chocolate cake.
Read moreBefore going I looked online and most of the dishes had a vegan option, but the menu I was given in person was maybe 50% or less vegan. It seems a move in the wrong direction.
Pros: Nice food
Cons: Could easily be more vegan options , Quite expensive

Can never say no to dosa - Edit
Plenty of options but I always go for masala dosa if it’s on the menu. The mango lassi was particularly amazing. Lovely staff.

The food is actually solid! Really great! Only gave 4 stars as it’s no longer vegan but would’ve given 5 if it was fully.

Delicious food, amazing flavours - Edit
Went here for a meal with my parents last week and we really enjoyed it! Food was absolutely delicious, especially the naan and the chicken korma. We got a chocolate cake for dessert and I would say it’s the best vegan dessert I’ve ever had. I thought that everything was decent value except the rice- it was very expensive for a tiny bowl! Would definitely go back here as the food was delish 😋

Amazing - Edit
Amazing service and food! Very authentic Indian restaurant. We had a wide variety of food and drinks and everything was 100%, service lacked a little but this was due to the fact every table was buzzing with happy customers

Lovely Indian :) - Edit
Fab veggie and vegan Indian, nice surroundings and amazing service. Vast menu including currys, dosas and street food with veg, paneer and fake meats (delicious!). The omnis couldn’t believe it wasn’t meat. I had my first ever ‘butter chicken’ and loved it. It’s a little pricey but for the food and the location, it’s fine. Only thing I didn’t love was the vegan lassi; not salty!

Very good meal - Edit
The food we ordered was very good, but the service was lacking initially, although improved over the course of the meal - we ordered drinks and 1 didn’t arrive with the rest and we had to remind them, and then the meals we ordered 3 masala dosa and 1 of another curry and initially 1 masala dosa was missed too; however, when the issues were pointed out, they were immediately fixed and we were checked on frequently following these mishaps to ensure everything was up to standard and they were happy and quick to supply anything we needed.

Awful - do not go - Edit
Wanted to leave only one star but it would not allow me to, because apparently it is fully vegan WHICH IT IS NOT.
Read morePretty dire experience at this restaurant. The food was passable (except for the tofu which my friend ordered, which had an unpleasant crumbly texture, she had to ask the waiter if it was even tofu) and expensive. Worst of all was the service, we had to ask multiple times to order food, it then took us over an hour to receive our order (and even then we had to ask because it had been so long). At the end we made it known that we were quite disappointed but there was no attempt to make amends. Really disappointed by the experience, it spoiled our evening really and it was not money well spent.

Completely ruined it - Edit
This used to be my favourite restaurant, I'm so sad that they've changed it. The menu used to be so creative, unique and varied - now it's just a standard Indian menu AND it's not even vegan anymore. The reintroduction of dairy is a terrible move, we won't be returning. Bring back the old OmNom!

Gorgeous food - Edit
We had the 'prawn' koliwada and chilli lime mogo for starters - both disappeared too quickly for a photo! - and the butter masala curry with rice and cheesy nan for the main. Absolutely gorgeous. The rose lassi was good too. Friendly staff. Will definitely be back. (Dropped one star for the reintroduction of dairy - please reconsider 🙏🏽).

Why isn't it vegan any more?! - Edit
I loved this place when it was vegan. I was quite disappointed when I dined there recently and found out that it'd changed management whose decision to include dairy seems like a huge step backwards. I appreciate the menu is still meat-free and they continue to support a charity, but it used to be a fully vegan restaurant, with a wide range of cuisine! Since this is HappyCow, I can't give this a better rating because cows will have suffered for their new menu, especially in 2022 when dairy can be replaced with a variety of alternatives.
