This is such a great place. I serves some fish. Everything else is vegan. It's a range of Thai and Indian food with a great range of options and drinks. I recommend the Cauliflower and Mushroom curry .... with chapatis and Tree Bark cordial. It's cash only .... although inexpensive so you you won't need much. As with most places in Kaunas English is spoken too. Thanks Happy Cow

Most of dishes are vegan, they don’t take credit card so make sure you have cash. I would invite everyone to go there even the non vegans because their food is very tasty and the place very beautiful and cosy.

Great staff and service. Very cosy yet humble interior flavored by middle Eastern decor. Atmosphere is enhanced with moody music. Lastly, the food here is top notch and you can have your orders customized by request (alergies, etc.). Highly recommended!

A true alchemist! Eating here is a journey and an experience for your taste buds, and also for your soul. The ambiance of this place is very soothing. Always good music and artsy decoration. All well combined. Authentic Indian and Asian food. Friendliest owner and staff in all of Kaunas. Local owner with roots from India, delivers the most authentic South Asian cuisine. Watch out for the anise stars and the cloves! A menu full of vegetarian and vegan options.

There is nothing bad to say about Moksha: location is very central, restaurant is cozy and tidy, staff is friendly, menu has vegan and vegetarian labels and a good selection of dishes, portions are quite large, food is very fresh with well balanced spices... But... all this has its own price and it's not low compared to other places. So even the main dish and a drink can result in a double-digit check. But it's still worth it and offers a good deal when you take everything into account.

A gorgeous little restaurant in the center. Friendly, helpful staff and lots of vegan options. All the vegetarian dishes can be made vegan too. Even had vegan beer :) Went here a few times during our short stay in Kaunas.

Best Veg Friendly Restaurant in Kaunas - Edit
It took me quite a while to finally visit Moksha and i am glad i finally did it. Conparing to other restaurants serving meat and fish it has loads of vegan and vegetarian options which are marked on the menu. It is quite pricey for lithuanians though. We tried lentil soup, vegetable masala, rice with vegetables and some appetizers. Everything was really delicious. All their food is quite spicy so ask if you don't want your mouth to burn. Also always ask about the use of ghee in rice because that is not mentioned in the menu. But they always can make the dish without it.

best best best place in kaunas - Edit
I'm vegan and I was on a little hunt to find a good place to eat in Kaunas. I found Moksha and I was super impressed. They have loads of vegan options on the menu. Its all sort of indian themed but theres way more stuff than the standard vegan curries. The atmosphere was really great and quite stylish actually. I would really recommend this place!
