Mildreds, established since 1988 and reported vegan in May 2021, operates several restaurants in London. Its changing menu offers British classics as well fusion meals, with example dishes like mushroom pie, Indian curry, lentil burger, tortilla chips and gucamole, burger with fries, waffles, vegan brownie with ice cream. This branch is small and gets crowded at rush hour so expect a wait. Open Mon-Sat 09:00-23:00, Sun 09:00-22:00.

Mildred's has been a institution of delicious plant based food in London the Covent garden restaurant is no exception.

Pros: The Korean fried rice was amazing, Gyoza had lots of flavor , Tiramisu was perfect
Cons: Sweet potato tortellini flour was bit thick , Could have more European food choices

I’m very biased as I love all the Mildred’s restaurants, but this was my first visit to Soho and they certainly didn’t disappoint.

We sat upstairs in one of the smaller rooms, lovely atmosphere even though it was a little noisy.
Love Mildred’s restaurants so highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again. Great job guys.

The staff was friendly. The food was to 👏🏻 die 👏🏻 for. I was so hungry that I didn’t realize until half way through I hadn’t taken any pictures. The harissa patatas and kiri hodi were absolutely delicious. 🤤

The food was exceptional at Mildred’s. In terms of portion size, favour and wow factor, It doesn’t get much better than this. My favourite dish was the whipped feta. Delectable.
Read moreThe two downfalls were the price and the wait time. Firstly. An average dish was about 15 pounds - roughly 30 AUD. This is overpriced for what it was. Secondly, we waited about 40 minutes in between our entree and mains.
If either the wait time or price were better than what they were, Mildred’s would have received 5 stars. So, it’s gotta be 4 stars from niki_nine

I got the Kiri Hodi and it was good. Although the service was not very good, I sat with an empty plate & empty drinks for around 20 minutes trying to pay my bill.. In addition to their overpriced items, they tack on an “optional service fee”…

Read moreWe came for breakfast and were just a few minutes over the time they switch for lunch - so appreciate that the kitchen still let us have from the breakfast set.
Tufu bun was very good, as were the corn patties. The guacamole on the side was disappointing, so you can skip that. Cesar salad from the lunch menu highly recommended.

Cons: A little expensive, Lots of mayo in everything

Used to love this place, but was a bit disappointed last time I went. Prices have gone up, selection down, they really hustled us when it came to ordering. Didn’t feel as relaxed, exciting, or charming as it was pre-covid.

Saved the best for last- a friend took me here after a visit to the National Gallery and I was really impressed with the fresh flavors of the food. The main floor was busy but we sat on the upper floor which was quieter but still attentive service. We tried the recommended fresh tomato salad, soba meatball dish and “chickin” skewers with courgettes and orzo. Finished with a flat white with oat milk and chocolate crown shaped truffles
