Read moreMy wife and teenagers really enjoyed the falafel wrap. I loved being able to have a mushroom gyro without worrying about it having meat or yogurt sauce. The only thing to know ahead of time is that this is primary a take away place. The seating is very limited (the four of us took up all of the space available).

Für Veganer in der Nähe der Acropolis zu 100% zu empfehlen. Kleiner Laden, nette Bedienung, nur leckeres Essen in einem sehr guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Allerdings nichts für größere Gruppen, da es nur kleine Tische für zwei Personen gibt.

Best Gyros in Athens - Edit
We ate here in September 2022 - we both had the Greek Mushroom Gyros and Kombuchas on a busy day of site seeing around the Acropolis. The service was great, with great tasting food to match. It is a takeaway, with very limited seating (barstools on the pathway). Definitely the best gyros we had in Athens, and we tried quite a few!

We only ate here once but it was so good we wished we could go back for the rest of our trip! The staff are friendly and accommodating, not many tables but you can take away if need be, and quick service. The mushroom gyro was insanely good!

The food here is soo good! I had the mushroom gyro, it is really the best gyro I have ever had. Fresh ingredients, perfect spice, and amazing flavor. The tzatziki is so delicious too, with pita, yum! And the man working (owner?) was so sweet, he made an extra effort to bring me my order. The prices are very reasonable too! Also check out the coffee shop across the street, they do a great almond milk freddo!

Delicious Central Pitta-Stop - Edit
The mushroom-based gyros were delicious- we stopped here eager to try a souvlaki-style wrap, and its location is extremely central and close to the Acropolis. It's a close call but if we had to pick we would say that Cookoomela is Grill had the best vegan gyros/souvlaki we tried. This was cheap and tasty.

We got the beyond burger with bacon (best vegan bacon we’ve ever had!), the Greek gyro, fries, jackfruit bao buns, and tzatziki. All were delicious, but especially the burger and gyro (only 4€!). Food takes a bit to prepare so keep that in mind.
