Read moreWife had Bao buns with Jackfruit, I had falafel wrap. Could not fault anything about these items. Delicious and filling. Generous portions size, just right for what we needed.
We loved it and will be back very soon.

Broad vegan only menu. Chicken slouvaki and mushroom gyros were both delicious. Freshly made to order in a clean, friendly environment with a decent, clean toilet upstairs.

Está ubicado en una zona perfecta para comer después de visitar la Acrópolis o el museo. Es un local pequeño, pero puedes pedirlo para llevar. Los chicos que nos atendieron fueron muy majos. Pedimos tzatziki, souvlaki de setas y el wrap de falafel. Estaba todo riquísimo especialmente el baklava, de los mejores que probamos esta semana.

We had the Greek Mushroom Gyros, Indian Mushroom Gyros, Chicken Souvlaki, Tzatziki, French fries, Garlic mayo, Pad Thai Salad! Highly recommend! Prices are fair!

Great Souvlaki - Edit
We went for dinner and really enjoyed the chicken souvlaki. The gentleman working was very friendly. We also ordered baklava for dessert and was so impressed by both the size and the taste. Can’t wait to head back and try the mushroom souvlaki next.

Nice little place with only few chairs, the food is made fresh directly in front of the customers. Great price. I was only suprised that the souvlaki was made of fried nuggets. My companions would give 5 stars for sure they were super satisfied.

What a wonderful dinner at this small shop with a relatively large menu! Would 100% come back. Loved the gyro, tzatziki, and baklava. Eat in or take it to go and walk through the beautiful neighborhood. Friendly staff.

Read moreAfter visiting their other branch we had to have more the next day before our flight home.
We had Greek mushroom gyros 'chicken' gyros and falafel wrap to eat in. Plus bought mushroom melt wraps to take away and eat before flying home.
The food is cooked fresh in front of you and is amazing! 😍
We plan on returning to Athens next year and will definitely return to Mama Tierra.

The mushroom gyros is really flavoursome and great that its not all fake meat. Tasty fries too, I just wish we had this place in London!

Delicious and cheap vegan street food - Edit
I’ve stopped in here several times and have tried the souvlaki, the Greek gyro, the Indian gyro, the falafel, and the Beyond Meat burger with the add-on of (vegan) bacon. Every single one has been delicious and only the Beyond Meat burger was at a typical Athens price (€9.50 including the bacon add-on). They also have vegan bottled drinks, vegan prepackaged snacks, and vegan ice cream. As others have mentioned there is very limited seating, although you can always get it takeaway/takeout.
