quick, cheap, big portions!

a cute little stall on the pavement next to Åhléns in Fridhemsplan - can be easy to miss. nice vegan Thai food, lots of vegan options available (tofu and oumph chicken style pieces) which you can have dressed up in any way - multiple sauce options, noodles, rice, or soup.

I had wok rice mamaung with Oumph (so nice with the cashew nuts in it), and my boyfriend had the Singaporean fried rice with tofu. the portions were huge and cheap! if you ask the staff for takeaway boxes they will be happy to give them to you. there's some outdoor seating available (with heating), and next to the tables there's a range of sauces and toppings (sambal, sweet chilli sauce, soy sauce etc.) and this place seems like a popular takeaway spot - lots of drivers were coming to pick up food for delivery.

overall, I would recommend this place! my boyfriend and I both enjoyed it. it's a nice central spot in Fridhemsplan, with big portions and decent food for the price you pay.

Pros: good Thai food , cheap, big portions

Cons: only outdoor seating

Not the best, but steady...

Certainly not the best Thai food in the city, but also not at all bad and fairly consistent. We usually stop by for a takeaway once a week. The outdoor tables are really only good enough for waiting and the inside is tiny.
You can order very many menu items in vegan versions - depending who you get when you place your order, the English skills vary, so just double check they got it right. There are also special lunch deals on weekdays.
The food tastes fine and the portions are good.

Pros: Lots of choice , Fast service

Cons: Not easy to order if you only speak English

Shrimps are not vegan

Eaten here three times and the first two was ok, nothing special but ok. This time we got the most disgusting shrimp smell in one of the dishes that made us question if it was vegan at all. Will not eat here again

Hole-in-the-wall style with a couple of vegan options

There are many, many things that could make this place better. But you have to judge it from what it is. It’s basically a hole-in-the-wall, with a few tables. Not something from Guide Michelin. Sure there might be a bit of a language barrier, with the all asian staff. But they sure can fry those veggies! Perfect consistency, perfect balance between sweet, sour and salty. Nice spicyness, Nice big tofu chunks. This is where you go, when you are in the vicinity, suddenly feeling hungry. Not for booking a table for your date night. They get you filled up, for a reasonable price. If you are not worried about cross contamination, this is a nice place for a quick lunch! Will come back!

Only One Option

I am confused why this place is on Happy Cow and why people have said many options, because when I went to order they told me they only had one option and nothing else could be made vegan. My Swedish friend spoke to them for me. I did order the only vegan option and it was delicious. But disappointed there was only one option.

Pros: Taste

Cons: Options

Several vegan dishes, good fastfood

I've had take-out from here several times. It's fresh, tasty, inexpensive and the portions are generous. It's on a busy corner but has about four booths inside where you can also wait for your food at the bar. Service is friendly. It can take a while to get your food during dinner time as the place is popular (not more than 15 mins though). Ideal to bring to one of the many nearby parks on Kungsholmen if the weather is ideal.
---
They cannot guarantee no cross-contamination and therefore are not permitted to have a vegan only menu as I've understood it. You can choose tofu as a protein option for many dishes. The symbol for this is a green seal which says 100% which is not super clear on the menu. Some dishes have egg noodles which can be replaced by rice dito - ask to be sure!

Streetfood

There places used to have a vegan menu, but this have now been updated to an extra sign on the menu, it's a round circe with 100% in the middle and vegan around.

This is good okey priced street thai food in Stockholm, we have a few such things but having one with quite a few marked vegan options is really nice.

The prices might be a bit high but average for the areas of Stockholm they tend to be located in

Pros: Marked vegan on the menu, Opening times okeyish

Cons: Expensive, Menu sign hard to see

Hole in the wall. 4 tables. Great food.

8 min walk from my hotel.

Order at the window on the street.

No sign of a vegan menu but anything on menu with veggie sign seems to be veggie or vegan.

I went for the veggie soring rolls and Thai green curry.

Then you go inside and wait for your food or wait outside and take away.

There are 4 tables and 2 seats at a counter. You can buy soft drinks and there is free water.

The soring rolls were delicious with loads of sweet chilli sauce. The green curry had loads of veggies in it. I thought it was too watery at first but actually it was perfect for the Thai rice that's served on the side. The curry was a little bit salty for my palate but deliciously spiced. I ate every bit of it.

It's cute, it's different and totally unpretentious.

Enjoy!

Pros: Quick, Easy, Cheap

Cons: Not somewhere to spend the evening , Order outside
