21 and over only - Edit
I really wanted to go check this place out with my family while on vacation, but it is strictly 21 and over even for breakfast, so we weren't able to eat inside. I think it must be a local law because we ran into some restrictions at other restaurants that were surprising to us coming from Ohio.
Read moreWe did go for breakfast and got takeout. We ate it at some picnic tables nearby on the patio of another bar that was closed at the time.
The staff was very nice and helpful. The food was good, but not amazing.

MMM Good - Edit
We tried the Creamsicle Airplane and the Lost & Found cocktails, which were amazing! The Market Board had a huge variety of yumminess and the Sweet Corn Tamale Cakes are extremely flavorful. Recommend sitting inside, as outside was a bit stinky, with garbage and smokers. Fun vibe inside.

Comfort Food & Fries - Edit
We got sandwiches and fries from Life On Mars, and found that though the food was a bit oily for our preferences, it did taste good. The portions were generous! The crab po boy is highly recommended!

Coolest vibe - Edit
While we didn’t have any food here, the drinks and the vibe were so fun! They let you pull records to play and it was a fun old library/dive bar feel. Would definitely come back to eat!

Good Food. All Vegan. - Edit
I had a nice burger here, though it was a little expensive for what it was (you only get about 10 fries per plate). The entire menu is vegan though, so I am not opposed to coming back and trying something else. It seemed like the cauliflower was the item to order.

Dude they have bomb ass Mac and cheese just ask to see if you can get it without the fake meat. It tasted so good without the fake meat. I’m high and I have the munchies so it tastes better tho

Finally all vegan - Edit
After many failed attempts of closed vegan eateries or vegan option places getting order wrong with dairy products I was happy to finally get to an all vegan restaurant even with the 1mile walk uphill from my pike market hotel. I wanted to try everything so I got cauliflower Buffalo wings. They are very hearty and filling. The blu cheese on the side taste too much like blu cheese and instantly hurt my stomach so I asked for ranch and they gave me a spicy ranch dip they had and it was super good. I also got the red quinoa salad which was very good and refreshing but the name kinda confuses u because it wasn’t that much quinoa in the salad (still good). Lastly I got the Not co crabby Po Boy sandwich made with fried heart of palms. Wasn’t expecting what I got but it was a pleasant surprise. I had so much food I took to go and walked my mile back to try and walk some of it. Definitely worth the go.

Really yummy food - Edit
The food here is so tasty and so is the space. It’s great seeing it so busy. All of the staff is lovely, but maybe a little scattered at times. It’s ok, we’re in no hurry.

The best cheeseboard I’ve ever had - Edit
I came here to celebrate my first vegan anniversary. I was most impressed with the cocktails and the cheese board. The cheese board came with a variety of nuts, fruits, and olives and was probably the best cheese board I’ve ever had. They have a house made patty and a beyond burger patty to choose from when you order a burger, and I chose the house made patty. It was very soft, mostly tasteless, and just tasted like beans. I wish I’d gone with the beyond patty instead, but everything else was excellent, and they have much more than burgers on their menu.
Read moreThe service was disappointing. We were carded at the entrance and told to sit in any open booth, and a server would come soon. We seated ourselves and waited at least fifteen minutes before a server passed by and asked if we’d been helped, to which we replied that’s we hadn’t. He then walked away to find someone to take our drink orders. It just seemed chaotic and poorly organized, and the price of the dinner seemed very high for the quality of food and service. Getting the bill and ordering second drinks was more difficult than it should have been.
Pros: All vegan , Creative cocktails , Good location and nice ambience
Cons: Poor service

Fried artichokes! - Edit
Prices are rather high and the portions are small. Their fried artichokes are FANTASTIC but only offered on the happy hour menu, unless you order them on a sandwich or salad. This is a shame, because they are the star of the menu! If you’re looking for a better value here, try their cheese plate. It’s a great price for the amount of food you get and I was full after splitting it with another person. The rest of the menu is good and worth the occasional splurge. Their cocktails are on the sweeter side, which isn’t really my thing, so I usually stick with classic cocktails here. Service is hit and miss.

Almost Perfect - Edit
Gorgeous space. Greet vegan food. Perfect place for a date nite. But the service wasn't great. It was busy when I went but it took 10 mins just to be greeted after sitting down. Staff seemed pretentious and like they couldn't be bothered. I only went here once so it's possible I got them at a bad time.

100% plant-based menu - Edit
As of January 2020, this restaurant has been open seven months. The place operates as if it were a long-established business. Service is excellent, food is delicious, and the spaces within the overall space are well thought out. The savory pot pie was topped with a pumpkin biscuit, and the broth was loaded with an array of fresh veggies. The basic burger was a reliable, traditional offering.

A lot of fantastic cocktails (even some with aquafaba) and food options. I would really recommend the "chicken" waffle sandwich. They even have pickled vegetables (which are the ultimate drinking snack).

Dope atmosphere and amazing grub - Edit
Amazing, sexy spot in the heart of Seattle. Super welcoming staff, solid beer selection, and food that’s out of this world. The focus on this place is music, with a wall of vinyl records that the staff take down and play as you grub. Anytime I come back to Seattle, I’ll make it a priority to come to Life on Mars.

The fried artichoke waffle was probably the best chicken and waffles type of dish we've eaten. The homemade veggie burger was good too.
