Super cute decor and amazing food and drinks! - Edit
This little café nestled among the old quarter in Hanoi is a must-try for all vegans. It's location makes it a place where you will not find passer-bys, as it's hidden upstairs down a small alley. This makes it exclusive to those who go out of their way to find amazing gems like La Studio. The menu is small, which means it's of high quality, as they put work into perfecting all dishes sold. The banana nice-cream and granola layered parfait is so delicious! They serve homemade bread which is to die for, as proper bread is hard to come across in Vietnam. I'd recommend the fruit toast; a huge portion of peanut butter, banana and apple on bread for the price. As for the drinks, the turmeric latte is my favourite, definitely give it a try. They rotate their cake menu daily, I've tried the lemon-coconut and chocolate espresso cakes, both so good a non-vegan wouldn't know they were vegan. My advice would be to come as early as possible, as once something is gone, it's gone! By 12:30pm they were out of all bread and bagels, bad for us- but it means they are doing great business. Also, if you like dogs, the cutest little white dog adds to the aesthetic and the cheery, relaxed atmosphere of La Studio.

Best. Lox. Bagel. - Edit
We bought the lox bagel and ended up buying one more the same night. It tasted almost like the real deal, and the cashew cream cheese was amazing. Really nice atmosphere and friendly staff!

cozy and has the best salmon bagel - Edit
This is probably the coziest place we went to in Hanoi, it’s a little bit hard to find but you have to look up to spot their signs since it’s on the second floor. We tried their carrot salmon bagel, and it was amazing!! The bagel was homemade and it tasted so much like smoked salmon! Unfortunately we went there pretty late so they didn’t have any dessert left, so if that’s what you want you should probably go there earlier in the day. If you’re ever in Hanoi this place is a must!

The Best Food In Hanoi - Edit
This is a really cool little place, tucked away in a charming alleyway near (in) Hanoi's Old Quarter.
Read moreThe food was beyond delicious. My wife and I shared the Lax (smoked "salmon") bagel, the granola parfait with peanut butter, a chocolate cupcake and a delicious, iced coconut coffee. What a meal! Every dish was truly delicious and I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
It's also something different from the typical fried veggies and tofu that one finds more frequently around Hanoi.
Pros: Super delicious!
Cons: The dishes aren't the biggest, but not worth compl

Delicious cake! - Edit
Unfortunately I didn't actually get to go to this cafe because they were closed for tet. But the girl who owns it (or works there?) saw us and gave us some cake for free, which was super delicious. She was super nice :) I would definately come if I was in Hanoi again. It's not hard to find, there is a sign...

Amazing cake! - Edit
Used google maps to find this place and it was still a little tricky to find. However I’m glad I did as the chocolate and pear cake (25k) and the hot cacao (40k) were amazing.
Read moreThey didn’t have any coffee on this day, which is what I wanted. But there were lots of smoothies available which sounded great.
Cute little dog jumping around, but unfortunately they do keep a little bird in a small cage, which I know is a very Vietnamese tradition but it’s not very morally correct being a vegan cafe.
Pros: Delicious cake
Cons: Bird kept in cage

wow! amazing little spot - Edit
We really love this place. It’s a quaint cafe on the 2nd floor and you can eat on the covered deck or inside. The home made bread and bagels with cashew cheeze and carrot lox was outstanding. The smoothies, banana bread and tiramisu were fantastic too! Great fresh flavour!

Charming, Delicious, and Cozy - Edit
La Studio is one of my favorite Hanoi spots. The food was incredible, the servers were kind, their sweet dog was a pleasure, interacting with guests for a bit upon arrival and then leaving them to rest in what seems to be his personal chair. The decor is quite nice, the music was relaxing, and food was fresh and nicely presented.
Read moreThe lox bagel was fantastic and my favorite food item. The homemade bagel was quite good and the salty carrot lox reminded me of the lox flavor I enjoyed many years ago. The hummus and vegetables on bread was also quite good, with an amazing homemade bread that was thick and moist on the inside, but toasty and partly charred on the outside. The banana ice cream granola was also quite fantastic. The granola was perfectly toasted and lightly sweet, unlike so many sugary ones. For dessert I tried a brownie with currants (I think that was it) ice cream which was phenomenal. The brownie was lightly sweet, but also a tad bitter from the cocoa which was perfect for my palate. The ice cream, which I nearly omitted, was a showstopper and is not to be missed.
It seems La Studio will only serve food so long as they have any left. Because everything is homemade the quality is fantastic!
Pros: Food, Ambiance, Decor

Tricky to find, but worth the quest! It's on the second floor and does have a little sign but would be easy to miss. The hummus bagel was delicious, we just wanted more of it! If the brownie is available, get it with the ice cream- you won't regret it!
Read moreThe tumeric latte and hot cocoa were nice but very sweet. Such a luxury to have everything be vegan though! Also very cheap for Hanoi standards. :)

Cozy spot for dessert - Edit
This little cafe was a little hard to find but once you do, it's a lovely place to have a piece of homemade cake or try their all day breakfast. The carrot cake was nice, not overly sweet but I would've preferred more icing. Granola parfait with banana ice cream was rich and fresh.

The earlier you get here, the more choices you have.
Read moreI arrived 1 1/2 hours before closing time some time last week and the only food left was the granola (banana ice cream) and some smoothie, juices and coffee tea.
Menu options look really good and if they're half as nice as the granola, you're in for a treat. I will let you know as soon as I've sampled more...😁
PS. Sweetest dog ever! ❤

Me and my boyfriend have been here several times and spend lot's of time trying different food and drinks. We love the relaxed atmosphere, the nice owner and of course the homemade bread, the fresh juices and the muffins. My absolute favourite is the Morningsmoothie!
Read moreEverything is homemade, even the coffee is roasted in small portions there and the owner likes to do everything on her own, this can take time, especially when there are more guests, so take your time to enjoy.
The place is quite hidden in a small street, you should check the pictures at happy cow there is one of the small wooden sign. Definitely worth trying!
