a bit bland

good broth, but for me there were too many noodles, the toppings were too greasy and the it was all a bit too bland. however i know that some people love it, so i may be missing something.

One of the best places

A very nice and cozy restaurant. The staff was friendly and they all spoke English. The food was amazing and the prices are very affordable. Would definitely come here again!

Best udon noodles I’ve ever eaten

The service is great and very helpful. Everything can be made fully vegan (except for the egg of course). Outside seating available. Definitely worth a visit.

Pros: Anything can be made vegan, Outside seating , Helpful staff

Cons: Expensive

Nice

My first time trying udon, and it was very delicious! All udon bowls are vegan (apart from extras and side dishes). Very filling as well (: the interior is cute too, very modern, and there's sitting space outside at the back of the restaurant. They have forks for anyone who has trouble using chopsticks

Good

It was good but not the best, felt it could be a bit more flavour full. Only one option had egg and one had milk, so people would miss out if they only looked under the vegan tab

Pros: Lots of vegan options , A bit bland , Lovely staff and service

Love!

Amazing! The stuff at this place is super nice and they really make you feel like home! The udon and tempura veggies were great, super tasty and large portion. Big plus for the interior design too! Super love for this place 🌸

Authentic japanese dishes

I have lived in japan for several years and the taste of their soups brought back so many memories. Kitsune udon tasted fantastic and exactly like the ones i had in tokyo.
I was told all their dishes (exept desserts) were vegan, if you leave the additional egg.
They also have in-house brewed beer and kombucha which both tasted amazing and went very well with starters and main dishes.
Staff is very friendly and i liked the minimalistic and clean style of the place.
They accept cash and card for payment.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Beer and kombucha, I felt very welcone

Nice place but bland food

A nice atmosphere but not great food. The tempura and kimchee were alright, but the tofu and the soups were very bland. We got two different soups but the broths were the same, extremely bland tasting with no flavour. The portions were generous but hard to eat because of the lack of flavour. They do a sake taste test which was a nice experience. The staff and interior are all very good, so the meal was still enjoyable because of the atmosphere, but the food was not great at all.

Pros: Great staff, Decent prices, Authentic feeling

Cons: Bland food, Broths the same, Not all vegan

Delicious and filling soups

A place where you can get udon noodle soups with different fillings. They also have different side dishes. I am not a big fan of soups since I usually want to eat more after, but the soup I had here was very filling and tasty. The food feels very authentic and the waiter that served us was very friendly and knowledgeable, he told us about the food and how it should be eaten (in English).
Only negative things is that they don't accept credit cards, otherwise I would have given them five stars.

Pros: Tasty and filling soups, Friendly knowledgable staff

Cons: Cash only

Fabulous food, great service and good vibe

This place is a hidden gem. The food was outstanding and great value for money. All the main dishes and most of the starters are vegan (adding egg to the main dishes is optional and the only non-vegan part). Unfortunately desserts weren't vegan. We had good service from a knowledgeable waiter. I would definitely recommend this place!

Pros: lots of vegan options, good vibe, good value

Cons: no vegan desserts
