A fair number of tasty vegan options - Edit
I LOVE the potato galette (I don't think they have it on Saturdays), and the savory scone always hits the spot too. I've tried a little of their other food and drinks, which have always been delicious as well. Excited to go more.

Such a cool spot with bomb food and drinks! - Edit
Came on a Saturday morning to enjoy the brunch and caffeinated beverages. They had the garage doors rolled up for an open feel in the quirk cafe with tons of character. Staff were friendly and food came fast. I got the vegan breakfast strata, a mocha, horchata, and two shortbread cookies. Everything was top notch because it’s all made in house! The menu is almost all vegan and clearly indicated what was vegan. There was a bunch of scones and cookies and all were vegan as well. Such a great spot that I highly recommend and can’t wait to to check out again!

Vegan bites, coffee, heavy metal - Edit
This very solid first impression of Immortal Café included an oatmilk latte with Demerara brown sugar "fancy syrup" and it was quite good. I'd recommend you try it if you're down for a hint of sweetness.
Read moreIt was evening when we stopped by, so the food options were small bites and shareable. I tried both the potato chips (yum) and the Bertie, which was a truffle-infused fermented cashew cheese (double yum) accompanied by a seasonal preserve and crostini. The seasonal preserve was a candied orange marmalade, which elevated the whole pairing. So much deliciousness.
The place is small and in a funky converted motel on the edge of Alkali Flats. I wouldn't bring a large group since the interior is more like a bar with small seating options. It is dog-friendly though with a couple of exterior tables.
I'll be back to try out the Saturday vegan brunch for sure.
Pros: Vegan small plates, Good coffee, Heavy metal music

Fun new spot in sac with vegan options - Edit
Loved all the vegan options. I’ll need to go back to try the scones but I got the vegan lasagna and it was sooooo amazing.
