Great staple place - Edit
This I think is run by the Nutmeg, a small local health food store chain which mostly does SUMA Co-op items. The gumbo they make is great, it’s between a soup and a stew but with Linda McCartney sausage chunks! They also do karma drinks. Not bad at all. It’s also an example of reuse: a lot of the fittings are the same as the former Clements caff that was in here. Conveniently located near fresh garbage (the store!!!) too

Wonderful cafe with delicious vegan treats and coffee. They really do magic with the “Fifteen” … it was AMAZING!!! Incredibly nice staff too. Can’t wait to try more things here. 💚

A vegan cafe in the city centre - hoorah!!! - Edit
Fab to have a proper vegan cafe in town. I hope the lovely sweet treats and coffee will attract all sorts of customers so they can see how delicious vegan cakes and treats can be. Most people dont think it is possible. For the vegans there are delicious toasties and tofu scramble. There is soup too which should appeal to everyone. It is dog friendly and a spacious place. It was a cold day when we visited and the cafe was cold and my tofu scramble and toast got cold very quickly. We shared a huge pistachio and cherry cookie and a tiffin bar which were both delicious. There is a small menu but I can’t wait to return to try the gumbo or the pancakes and scones.

Great vegan food right in the city centre - Edit
Great tasty food, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. Menu's somewhat limited but that's not a bad thing. Better to do a smaller selection of things and do them well, I think.

... Loyalty, Respect - Edit
Situated in the old Clements on rosemary street - very close to castle court and Belfast town centre, this is a light and breezy joint serving a few lunch items and coffees.
Read moreIt seems to be run and owned by the nutmeg crowd (nearby health food shop), so if you have eaten in 387 before Harry's place crowd took it over, or "this must be the place" in Hollywood, you'll get the idea.
Menu changes, but is 100% vegan. When I went, I ordered a gumbo - tomato based stew with Linda McCartney's sausages. It was quite nice and for the location, very cheap at £4.50 a bowl. Since there's not much cooking to order, speed of service should be fast - and it was.
Food was tasty, hearty yet light and reasonably priced. Not much not to love!
They don't have a load of tables I must say, and have kept the basic decor from Clements with a new wall mural.
Pretty much an ideal, healthy and cheap fast-in-fast-out lunch venue.
Pros: Healthy , Cheap , Tasty
Cons: Not many seats , Not many menu items
