delicious vegan ramen 🍜 - Edit
Hinata Ramen offers a lot of vegan options for both appetizers and main courses. It's a good place to enjoy traditional japanese food with vegan or non-vegan friends!

Good ramen, great starters - Edit
We really liked both kinds of ramen we tried (vegan kara shoyu ramen and vegan kara miso ramen) but it was the starters that really impressed us: vegan kara age and curry croquettes. They have an impressively extensive drinks menu too.

Great little find - Edit
Lovely little restaurant, no booking required. We visited on a Thursday lunchtime in July, and got a table straight away.
Read moreAll veggie options are vegan and there is a meat/vegan option for each ramen and donburri option. Good selection of soft and alcoholic drinks.

Yummy food, busy place with good vibes - Edit
The tables are quite near each other and the sound really echo’s off the walls so Hinata is not the place if you like your quiet. But if you’re up for amazing vegan Japanese food it is. Absolutely love the vegan katsu kare and the vegan takoyaki. The vegan karamiso ramen and karaage are also great. Good vibes overall, very nice staff🌻

Delicious ramen!! - Edit
They have several vegan options, clearly marked in the menu. We had gyozas and kara age tofu (yum!), and then we ordered two different ramens to share (only a bit 😂🤏). Everything was really delicious, the place is cute and the staff is very friendly.

Great ramen - Edit
Simple and tasty ramen. I was not a fan of the rice ball because of the seaweed, however that was my mistake because I thought I ordered the fried rice ball. If if you like fishy things (seaweed) you would like it. The ramen was delicious and the tofu dumplings were too. Would def go back.

Cosy ramen shop - Edit
A comfortable ramen shop with friendly staff and a few vegan options. I got a spicy soy sauce-based ramen. It hit the spot, although it wasn’t the best ramen I’ve had — I found the broth lacked some depth and it really wasn’t that spicy at all! I had to add soy sauce and sesame chilli oil to achieve more flavour and heat - perhaps my fault though for not requesting it to be spicier. I did however enjoy the vegetables on top that added a really welcome freshness to the meal. Overall, a good option if you’re looking for vegan ramen on the cheaper side of things.

Cozy restaurant & delicious ramen - Edit
The restaurant was really cute and cozy. The staff was very nice. The food didn’t take more than 10/15 minutes. It was delicious but not the best ramen we ever had. But worth a visit!

Nice broth but bad tofu - Edit
A nice little place in Jordaan. The indoor space is too crowded and the fan is not taking away all smell from meat and egg so not pleasant to sit inside. The spicy broth was really hard to eat, I wish there was an inbetween spicy ramen but it goes from no spice to too much spice.
Read moreI think the staff is nice but the waiting time here, on several occassions, is too long.
The ramen broth is really tasty but I think it’s kinda lazy to fill so much of the bowl with freah spinach. It has no taste. The worst part of the dish ia the small tofu piece on the top which tastes like sponge. It is such. Let down that a ramen place can’t cook the most vegan ingredient of times: tofu. I wish they would rethink the vegan ramen and maybe add variations of it. My friends really like this place but I prefer Fow Fou which is close by and where starters come within 5-10 min and mains before you’re done with starters. This never happened at Hinata and I always had to wait 20-30min for my ramen, sometimes the order even came out wrong. I’ve been here several times but now after discovering Fow Fou, I won’t prefer Hinata Ramen.
Pros: Very friendly staff eager to fix mistakes, Lovely broth
Cons: Uninteresting tofu topping, Too long waiting times, Stagnant amd sweaty interior space

Amazing Ramen - Edit
Amazing vegan Ramen and other Asian dishes with a great atmosphere. Staff was very nice and service was quick. There is a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including authentic Asian beverages. I would give this place 5 stars for their vegan options but HappyCow doesn't allow that because they do serve meat.
