Restaurant est. 2018 serving vegan food and drinks in a casual-intimate setting. On the menu are classic Spanish dishes as well as other rotating dishes. Dessert and beverage choices are aplenty. Relocated from Calle de Alejandro Rodríguez.

Everything was very tasty. We had the pastilla and it was gorgeous. Also the berenjenas were just as we had them in Andalucia. Desert was great. The food came quick (maybe a little too quick). Highly recommended.

A bit more upmarket than most vegan places in Madrid I went to but not fine dining. Had some good food - really liked the calamari and the croquettes. The Russian salad smelt quite eggy and the shrimps on top were very slimy but otherwise we liked it.

Hakuna Matata Veggie did not disappoint - I wish I could tried everything on the menu. All the dishes we ordered were delicious and the atmosphere was nice too. Would absolutely recommend!

For main dish we had seafood paella, and meatballs Tajine. The plantbased seafood has really interesting texture.
Dessert were the best value dishes, surprisingly. We ordered cheesecake, tiramisu, and carrot cake. Bigger portion compare to the dishes. And same level of craftsmanship.
I haven't had such a good vegan dining experience for longtime!

Read moreWe ordered avocado tartar. It was delicious, but too salty. At least, I could appreciate the flavours, so it wasn't too bad.
Then Tajin. Excellent!! It reminded me the shakshuka my mum used to cook when I was a child.
For dessert, we had vegamisù. It looked like made in the moment and tasted less sweet, so healthier. Thanks!!
Regarding the staff, in general, they are very correct. Chris, the maitre, is always excellent!! Just one thing I did not like is when the waiter or waitress don't say "sorry" or "perdón" or "permiso" when they want to pick up something from your table, it is not polite. I understand the restaurant was full and the staff is flying, but you won't waste your time for saying a word. The opposite, you will have a better ambience. I worked for 6 years in hospitality, I know what I am saying.
Of course, I will get back to try more deliciousness :)

I had a pretty good lunch here. Non fast-food vegan places are a bit rare in Madrid, so this was a nice change during my trip. Staff and friendly and lunch was nice and hassle-free.

El cachopo daba el pego totalmente. Yo nunca fui de comer ternera antes de dejar de comer carne, pero aún así puedo asegurar que estaba logradísimo. Incluso me dio un poco de grima.

Last minute lunch - Edit
They changed lunch hours to end at 4pm and we got there just after. The waiter asked the kitchen if it was ok and then seated us. We had the artichokes and the sauce was great but we didn’t like the “ham”. The potatoes are to die for. We didn’t want to keep them there late, but they were in no hurry. We had the chocolate cake for dessert and it was great. Highly recommend this place.

A great place for a special occasion. They offer many vegan versions of traditional Spanish meals like paella, rabo de toro, calamares, alcachofas, etc. Also, they combine other dishes from the world like "pastela marroquí" and the menu changes from time to time. It's not cheap but it's worth it.
