Small restaurant in Old Town across from Port Vauban, reported fully vegan in Jan 2017. Makes California cuisine with changing daily menu: soups, salads, sandwiches, curries, pressed juices, and desserts. Previously listed as Graze Artisan Cafe. Note that the restaurant is vegan however also runs Gourmet2Go meal service which has vegetarian options. Reported closed November 2021 - under new management and now serving meat with a new concept - listed separately on HappyCow.

Sympa - Edit

Small pricey buddha bowl - Edit
I asked for the buddha bowl and a protein brownie. It costed 20 euros in total and it was really small. Not even 1 cup of lettuce, 1/4 cup of rice, a little hummus and 1/4 small tomato.

First fully vegan restaurant in Antibes - Edit
The restaurant is in a nicely renovated location on a quiet street in the heart of the old town of Antibes. For lunch I tried a freshly made juice, spring rolls, thai curry and chocolate dessert - all which was excellent! It's really great to finallly see a fully vegan restaurant in Antibes.

Tasty and nice cafe - Edit
We came here for lunch. I chose the Thai burger and my partner had the nachos. We also had a choc banana smoothie. Service was pretty quick. I thought the smoothie could have been colder but flavour wise it was delicious. I liked my burger which was served with corn chips and the bun was lovely. Service was friendly and helpful. I confirmed it was all vegan and it was. Nice to find a fully vegan cafe open on a Sunday.

Good quality food, average service, pricey - Edit
Really wanted to love Antibes' only vegan establishment. However, we were greeted by someone busy on their phone who reluctantly got up to ask if we wanted to order.
Read moreThe food was of good quality (chef was very busy in the kitchen and was pleasant) but everything seemed excessively priced for what it actually was.
Pros: All options are vegan!, Tasty Buddha bowl
Cons: Pricey, Staff appeared ambivalent

Super dry and slow service - Edit
Very slow service. Food serves at different times. Took the Thai burger. Super dry bread. Plain nachos with no sauce at all. No spice. And, expensive, like you get nothing extra at all for what you pay.

Better Every Time - Edit
I first went to Graze in their early weeks of opening - during a time of challenge and uncertainty for the cafe's menu and future. Today, I see a more confident cafe (definitely confirmed Vegan) with a small menu that delivers. Chef Ivy explained that the dishes will change with the seasons, but regulars know they can ask for their favorites. Her catering business runs on the side but helps subsidize the cafe. I enjoyed their homemade kombucha which she let me sample first. I tried the Thai burger, Mexican wrap (which can be requested as nachos) and the banana bread. All delicious.

NOT 100% vegan ! - Edit
Contrary to their advertising on happy cow, their own website, facebook and the signs outside of the store this restaurant is in fact NOT 100% vegan.
Read moreI had to learn that the hard way!
Using the anti-food waste service *Too good to go* I got a falafel wrap, soup and some pizza for take away.
After having eating the wrap and taking a few bites out of some pizza slices I couldn't shake the feeling that there was cheese and even goat cheese on the pizza.
After asking *Graze* about it on Facebook the restaurant replied: "Hello we had vegan pizza and also normal pizza that day (the normal pizza is our meal delivery service Gourmet2go which runs out of the same kitchen)
With toogoodtogo we can’t guarantee allergies or preferences for each panier"
To me this is absolutely inacceptable! You can't be a 100% plant-based vegan restaurant when you're also running a non-vegan service from your kitchen preparing animal products and not even tell the customer about it !
The restaurant's message didn't include an apology for me by the way... very disappointing.
Pros: location
Cons: not 100% vegan, expensive, false advertisment

We found this lovely little restaurant using the happy cow app. Between our group we tried 4 dishes which were all great (especially the vegan sushi & bbq sliders) Nice matcha latte too! Friendly & welcoming staff.

Great find - Edit
Polite staff albeit shy and of very few words as I ordered and paid at the counter. The rates are indeed elevated however they are on par with other restaurants in the south of France. I ordered a green juice and a Thai Burger which added up to 23€. For reference, a soda in a “regular” restaurant costs 5€ and my fresh cucumber and fennel juice cost 7€. All products are organic based on availability. The juice was tasty and refreshing and the burger was probably one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The only downside is that it came with a side of tortilla chips which wasn’t very filling. Very happy to have gone there and recommend it to anyone staying in the area!

Very Nice experience - Edit
The place is super cute, but you must know it's a order at the counter restaurant. Especially when there are customers she doesn't take your order at your table so make sure to pay at the counter. The prices are a little pricey but the food is good and fresh. Would recommend for a vegan restaurant in Antibes.
