Awesome vegan food - Edit
My Son and I had the spaghetti and the cottage pie, both were really tasty and excellent, for desert we had one chocolate and one passion fruit donut and again both were delicious. Highly recommend this place to both vegan and non vegan.

Friendly and comfortable - Edit
We liked it so much that wanted to eat there every day, however unfortunately this nice little restaurant was far from district 7. All the dishes we had tried were great, especially when we were getting tired of the local cuisine. Amazing pizza, great cottage pie, super crunchy tacos, delicious hot dogs, nice desserts and shakes! In addition, the whole atmosphere of this place is cozy and friendly and the owner is a great guy! I wish there were more vegan places like this, then perhaps more people would ditch meat. :)

Vegan Comfort Food at its Best - Edit
Was on a holiday in Vietnam and ate here with two friends (one vegan, one not). Had the 'Fish' n' Chips for dinner and apple crumble with custard for afters. It was a great hearty meal at a very reasonable price; and I was almost overwhelmed with the level of choice on the menu. We ate here quite late, so they had run out of some of the options but we still had a great level of choice. We got talking to the owner, who was lovely and we plan on going back for the 'Full English' breakfast soon before we leave Vietnam. World definitely recommend you try this place.

Best Vegan Fry Up! Awesome service! - Edit
We ate here because we were craving a vegan fry up and boy did they deliver! My girlfriend was feeling ill last couple of days and needed some comfort food, let’s just say she’s feeling 10x times better now! Will hopefully be back after visiting the tourist points the owner recommended 🙌🏼🇻🇳

This is definitely the place to go if your craving western food in Vietnam. Super tasty and massive portions. They also use biodegradable bag and containers if you get takeaway! We had the mexican dog with fries and cottage pie, both delicious. The owner was very charismatic and service was great. Would definitely try to make it on a Sunday for the roast next time I'm in Vietnam.

Comforting Vegan Junk Food - Edit
It was refreshing to find a western-style restaurant after travelling Vietnam and wanting a break from traditional food. The British restaurant owner was friendly and helpful, making us feel at home. Would definitely recommend the fish and chips - the spicy bean burger was also yummy!

Two thumbs up, from an omnivore no less! - Edit
I am not a vegan, however I know the owner, Kieron, very well from my many previous visits to his other restaurant, and despite living a reasonable distance away I felt I had to visit and support him in his latest venture.
Read moreI have since visited on two occasions and have had vegan desserts both times. The menu has a plethora of freshly baked desserts that, unfortunately for me, were selling like hot-cakes - there was no apple crumble left but the 'banana & chocolate' and the 'banana & almond' muffins went down an absolute treat!
I must admit, I haven't yet tried any of the main dishes on the menu - I will review further as and when.
Pros: No smoking - very happy about that!, The desserts are excellent, Good value

A good option - Edit
Service/the owner was very nice.
Read moreWe tried the burgers, which came more with a mash than a firm patty, and a donut.
Water was served in a drinking bottle, restaurant seems to care about sustainability.
If you're searching sth. other than vietnamese food, you can try it. But we have to say we had better burgers(but outside from Vietnam)

Great vegan junk food - Edit
I opted for the chilli con carne hotdog and it didn’t disappoint! The chips reminded me of traditional chip shop chips back home in England and were lovely. There’s lots of burger options too and burritos. Nice selection of desserts (donuts, muffins, apple pie and custard, brownies) and teas and coffees. Friendly owner!

Delicious hotdog - Edit
I got the Mexican hotdog which was topped with fried onions and ‘chilli non carne’. Was craving vegan junk food so was a bit disappointed to find the hotdog part was a vegetable dog rather than fake meat, only to be blown away by just how tasty it was! The chilli on top was fake meat and overall made for a super tasty hotdog. The chunky chips on the side were great and the owner is lovely. Good condiments like ketchup, mustard and... VINEGAR! Also the coconut donut was heaven.

Nice Place! - Edit
I visited Kieron's new vegan restaurant yesterday. The name - 'Filthy Vegan' - is great, typical of Kieron's wit. The place is spacious and comfortable and just a stone's throw from the main backpackers' area. The menu is quite original. I had the vegan hot dog for 70,000 VND, and it was very tasty. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant for a tasty vegan snack.

The Mexican dog is amazing, so filling and delicious. Nothing else like it in Saigon. For desert, I had the weekly special: coconut donut. Tastes just like homemade. Perfection. Will be coming back to try the entire menu.

Vegan Junkie Heaven - Edit
Delicious, honest vegan comfort food. This new fully vegan venture by the owner of famous Bookworm’s Café satisfies that junkfood craving. We ate our Mexican dog, bean burrito and loaded fries way too quickly to even take photos! Great place to sit down with a laptop or a book for a few hrs in the beanbag area, or even to meet friends. Vegan Vietnamese coffee, cheesecakes, chocolate muffins and apple crumble round off what I believe is the only fully cruelty-free “Western” restaurant in the city.

AWESOME new VEGAN spot!! - Edit
Loved every part of our experience-- from the fun, tasty vegan dishes (we loved the Mexican Dog, vegan lentil burger with fries, iced coffee with oat milk, and banana muffin 😋) to the super funny and friendly owner. Very clean, welcoming environment. We showed up a day before the restaurant officially opened (confusion on Happy Cow), and the owner was there and wanted to make it up to us, so he gave us a hot dog he had made for himself! Definitely the kind of business that everyone should be supporting 😁

A Great Vegan Oasis - Edit
Stumbled onto this place through Happy Cow, and ended up coming back two nights later. Both due to meeting the owner who was very knowledgeable regarding Ho Chi Minh (as well as great craic) and the food (which provides many options for a delightful vegan feast). Highly recommended if travelling through Vietnam.

Great new joint in town! - Edit
Popped into the new vegan restaurant on the block. I’m always curious about new food ideas. So, this joint didn’t disappoint.. I really felt like something Mexican, so I went for the vegan burrito. Delicious! And asked for the extra chili, so it blew my mind! Next time I’ll try the big vegan hotdog. Oh, and the vegan apple crumble was awesome, too. Well worth a visit!
