For this establishment to be listed first, or even in the top 10, is a disservice to people using the site, veganism in general and HCMC. Your ranking obviously is skewed by reviews from Brits, Aussies and Yanks. At best, Filthy Vegan is middling among vegan/veg choices. Here is a more qualified ranking from a world citizen...

My friend and I are baffled by all the five-star reviews. Yes, the manager is chatty and friendly, and the cats are cute but... We've been vegans for around 10 years and vegetarians before that we have tried many different cuisines and both healthy and junk food. We know this place plays on the idea of comfort junk food, but this stuff was just plain inedible. The meat substitutes were hard, chewy, substances. Beige, tasteless, and overpriced. The distant ping of the microwave should have been a warning. We both took one bite and couldn't bring ourselves to eat anymore. As Brits, needless to say, we felt incredibly awkward about it and ended up wrapping over half of it in tissue and putting it in a bag until we got outside. We were just so shocked by how awful it was, and we're too hot and tired for a discussion about it. We just wanted to leave. Just one day, we fancied a change up from Vietnamese. We won't make that mistake again.

It is also awful to see how many people write about this being 'Western/British classics', 'Western comfort foods' etc. As British people, we are embarrassed if people think we eat like that.

This is really cheap and nasty fast food, the kind of glutenous mass that sits in the colon.
The 5 star reviews are suspicious. The place is unclean too.

I took a Grab because of the good reviews just to get there. What a disappointment. Nomen est omen. The place was indeed filthy. The Pizza was okay (3/5), but way too expensive. Not even the cats could make up for how disgusting the place was. It’s true: The more there is on the menu, the worse it is. My standards for HCMC are very low. The place still failed.
