Amazing food! - Edit
I really loved this place. Me and my husband tasted 2 soups and 2 main courses and white wine (all vegan) and everything was delicious! The restaurant is nice and has huge beautiful windows and high ceiling and we really enjoyed the place and its atmosphere.

Tasty food - Edit
I love the atmosphere! I was there with group of people and everybody were having some starter. Unfortunately for starters there were vegetarian choices but none vegan. When I asked from the waiter if it could be made as vegan she answered that it already is.. That made me confused if the waiter even knows what vegan means.. I simply ignored that and asked if it could have made without cheese.. And luckily it was possible just leave that out. Other than that the food was really good and filling. And sadly I had no space for the vegan cake they would have had for dessert.

Vegan, gluten free and lactose free menu items were clearly marked. I had luck to try coconut and mushrooms soup-it was to die for! Also very nice atmosphere, very spacious.

Long waiting time, but tasty - Edit
Since we went there at lunch time, we had to wait for a really long time even until waitress made latte. But overall, it is a nice, cute, very cozy and modern place. Food was nice, not too overpriced. Overall - happy, but do not advice to take a soup if you are hungry :)

Amazing place, but food only moderate - Edit
F-hoone locates in a huge, old warehouse in the district called Kalamaja. The neighborhood there is so bohemian, artistic, and rustic, which alone is a good reason to go there with your camera.
Read moreThe interior of the restaurant is functioning and beautifully unique. The big windows and the tables on the window sills earn special remarks. The atmosphere is active, but friendly. Music is good, fits the context very well.
And then the food. The menu itself separated the veg-options as their own topic, but only few vegan options could be spotted. Soy latte was good as expected, but the "creamy" red lentil dish (requested as vegan) was a disappointment. Paying 6 euros for a bowlful of (half)cooked lentils with tomato paste seemed like a waste for me, since I could have prepared the same dish better at my apartment only for a fraction of the restaurant price... Moreover, there was no taste or anything special apart from the two strands of rucola.
In comparison to the recommendations and wonderful experiences that I had heard others to have from F-hoone, I felt slightly betrayed with the food, but I'm sure to go back for the atmosphere to sip latte on the window sills... And I want to give a chance for the mixed salad where you can choose your ingredients, e.g. hummus, lentils and roasted mediterranean veggies. :-)
Pros: Architecture, atmosphere, Lovely staff, Unique, bold style
Cons: Bland vegan food, Small portions, Location

Trendy and friendly - Edit
F-Hoone is a great hangout. They have decent house wine, an extensive list of beers and very friendly prices. The menu even has a separate page for vegetarian foods. Not all of the options are vegan but the staff is knowledgable and friendly and will help you veganize your dish if requested. The spicy coconut soup is my huge favorite, in fact I would venture to F-Hoone just for that. It's also a cool place to just have a drink, check out the cool architecture and various alternative shops around. Brand new health food shop situated right next door too!
