Creative, Delicious, Unique! - Edit
This restaurant is a bit on the pricier side (rather small Pizza, 95 Yuan), but the dishes are very well-made, creative fusion kitchen. Definitely recommend to try it out!

The best spot in Shanghai - Edit
Extremely good. A perfect combination of flavours and great espresso as well. The bao were so good. They were packed when I arrived, but happily found me a spot. I'm glad I didn't miss it.

Innovative and delicious fusion food in Shanghai’s French Concession - Edit
Amazingly yummy food. Restaurant opened in 2020. It’s small but chic and comfortable. The menu is extremely creative. This is the kind of vegan restaurant that could only exist in Shanghai. I ordered mapo tofu hummus, gnocchi with dandan sauce, and Duli Breeze. The mapo tofu hummus tastes just like the best mapo tofu you could find in Chengdu. Combining it with hummus, pine nuts, cherry tomatoes, and sautéed greens is genius. It was served with warm bread. The gnocchis are made in house and pan-fried to give them a nice crispy exterior, a nice touch that would be good for any gnocchi dish. The dandan peanut sauce was nice and light. This dish could have had more veggies in it. The Duli Breeze is their signature mock tail. It combines freshly made kombucha with pineapple juice and coconut cream. I can’t wait to come back and try more!

Exquisite casual - Edit
One of Shanghai’s famous vegan spots. Good quality fushion fare. Went today with family of four - 600 RMB for dinner (no drinks or desert). Cuisine is a bit fancy for some kids’ palate. I’d recommend the Bao and hummus for sure. All other dishes were good. Would probably skip the pizza next time though it was fine.

Gem in the French Concession - Edit
A friend found this place for me. The food was wonderful- I can recommend the gnocchi, mapo tofu hummus (yes!) and bao- oh, and don’t forget snacks like roasted chickpeas and fried lotus root. The ambience of the restaurant was nice, but note it was packed so I’d recommend trying to book a reservation. If I was to point to one thing to make this restaurant even better, it would be to beef up their wine menu.

The food was good, I cleared off every plate that was ordered in a matter of minutes. Favorite meal off their menu tonight was the cauliflower curry as it provided multiple textures along with its complex aroma and flavors. Enjoyed tonight.

Update 31st July 2021:
Read moreAmazing! Still love this restaurant. Loved the gnocchi and the gongbao pizza especially 🙌🏽 the wontons were a little plain tasting but still nice.
Beautiful food. We loved everything except for the scallion pesto pasta, because it had seaweed in it, so tasted a bit too fishy for the 4 of us at the table.

Nice little restaurant in the French concession. Waiter spoke very good English and the food was very good! With surprising and pleasant amount of spice. The waiter warned it was spicy, I found it a pleasant amount of heat and added to the flavours

So impressed - Edit
I haven't been to a place like this in China. The food was creative with bold flavors. The presentation was beautiful. The menu is short and bilingual, and the servers spoke English. The place was small but the decoration was nice. I went on a weekend brunch and it had a brunch atmosphere. I was impressed by the attention to detail, the special design of the cutlery, the cool cups that turned into at the top. The quality of everything was really high.
Read moreI enjoyed the wontons and the doubanjiang pasta, the flavors were not what you'd get anywhere else. The corn and cauliflower fritters with bao buns, well, I'm not that into potato croquettes which is what the fritters tasted like, and the sauce flavor was a bit too strong for me, too salty for my companion. Still pretty good but I'd choose something else next time.
In general a real find and I'm sure to be back many times.

Overall, I'd recommend this restaurant, and I'd be happy to come back to try other dishes.
Cons: Only a couple of dishes on the menu. , There's no bathroom.

Top PlantBased Restaurant in Shanghai - Edit
I’ve been living in Shanghai for 7 years and this new restaurant is my Number 1 pick. The place is small, cozy, well decorated, with open kitchen and in a great location in the heart of Shanghai. The food is fusion style with Chinese elements, suitable for both foreigners and locals. I found dishes highly creative, original, tasty and unique; cannot find anything similar in Shanghai. Highly recommended

We've been here with a group of friends. First of all, the location is very convenient and easy to find. The atmosphere of the restaurant is pretty relaxing, and the kitchen is open and looks very clean, so you can observe how your food and drinks are prepared. The food is very tasty and fancy looking.

Great food but unfortunately arrogant service.
Read moreAlthough we had booking till 7:30 pm they started asking us to leave at 6:25 pm. We spent huge amount of money, had noisy group next to us and didn’t even complain.
Sure, good food as vegan isn’t easy to get but do we really need to be treated like this cause it’s a”famous” restaurant now?
No, we have plenty of good options in this huge city,.
@Duli: Enjoy your actual status, might not be for long time.
