Serves meat, vegan options available. German restaurant offering a few vegan items including schnitzel, mushroom pan and salad. Open Mon-Fri 17:00-00:00, Sat-Sun 12:00-00:00.
Super tasty veganized versions of traditional regional dishes. I highly recommend going there.
The Frankfurter schnitzel with green sauce is perfection. Atmosphere and service are great. It's giving classic Frankfurt. Have an apple wine or a "sauer gespritzen" while you're there to complete the experience.
If you only visit a single restaurant in Frankfurt, and you want to taste some vegan versions of the local cuisine, this one here is the place you should go. Or alternatively to one of their partner restaurants just a couple minutes by foot - Affentorschänke or Drei Streubern.
The vegan Grüne Sosse tastes fantastic and exactly like the original - get it with Bratkartoffeln for a small meal. I also loved the Schnitzel they served with it, which makes for a very satisfying main. They use a very tasty plant meat, and also had vegan steak and vegan duck on the menu, which I did not try. My favourite was the home made Spätzle with Mushrooms, which was exceptionally well prepared. Nice forest mushrooms, finely sliced onions, and a slightly creamy but still light sauce. German food at its finest, and really some of the best vegan German food I have been served in a restaurant.
The one thing missing was a vegan dessert - I am hoping they will implement it soon, as their dessert options already have some components that could be veganizable very easily, like fried cinnamon apples and cherry compote. Given how elaborate the vegan savoury menu is, adding some vegan vanilla sauce or ice cream shouldn't be hard for them.
Still, for me this is the best place in Frankfurt currently, in particular if you want to sample the local cuisine. Also, their Eppelwoi (local cider) selection is probably the best I've seen anywhere.

Pros: local vegan food, very high quality, great Eppelwoi selection
Cons: No vegan dessert - hopefully soon!
