Amazing wraps/gyros, quite possibly the best ever - Edit
Fantastic wraps using mushrooms as the main ingredient, with around six different varieties of sauces/extra ingredients. We had the brown barbecue sauce one and I've never eaten a wrap so delcious anywhere, even the bread was the best. They also serve really tasty potato wedges with a very creamy, vegan, mayo dip. Good choice of sugar free soft drinks too. The staff are all really friendly and helpful and, best of all, the price is so reasoanble, 2.70 euros each.

The souvlaki is to die for! Unfortunately their are located a bit outside the center and don’t have that many seating options (only outside) but the food is really makes up for the slightly shabby look.

This is not a restaurant, but the vegan version of a gyros shop. Not to far from the centre. Friendly service and they don’t charge you extra for being vegan. 2,70 for a gyros. Recommended!

Absolutely, hands down the best Gyros I’ve ever had! Cannot wait to go back before my flight home. We had the red Gyros which was delicious. Super cheap too! Under €3 each. The only seating is outside on the street as it’s a casual take away place, but was still great! Definitely go try Cookoomela.

I’ve tried the red and brown pita gyros and the potato wedges so far and they were out of this world! Absolutely delicious! The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommended!

The pita gyros were really extraordinary! Delicious and not expensive at all. I was afraid they would not be as tasty as the original meaty (version which I used to have when not vegan). Boy was I wrong. Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff! Recommended!

Read moreI had the "green gyro" and it was delicious, I'm not usually a huge fan of mushrooms but these were flavored wonderfully and the texture was great. My fiance and sister both had the "brown gyro" which came with bbq sauce and a creamy "cheese" and they were also very impressed.
The best part was the potato wedges though... so thick and crispy! Some of the best fries I've ever had (and I've had many. Definitely get the potato wedges with whatever you order.

If you ever find yourself in Athens, you should definitely visit this place. I think it's by far my favorite healthy-fast food in the world! Not only the prices are perfect for the quality of food that you get, the mushroom gyros, the lentil kebab and the potatoes are DELICIOUS! And all done without any cruelty involved.

Great little place. Everything is homemade except for the siracha. Got two wraps and a side of potatoes. Didn’t use any fake meat, only mushrooms and lentils. Everything was top quality. Highly recommend.
