Read moreWe sat in the outside area which had nice cozy vibes and artwork all around, mix of Italian and Mexican.
Had the torta, golden milk, jaimica, and tacos, all fantastic and homemade, with great prices!
Luigi and Isabella were extremely friendly and we could not have asked for better service and accommodation.
Once we told them we were vegan they explained that really all they have to do is replace the cheese with a bit of avocado and each dish still greatly works (and they DEFINITELY did)
Can't thank them enough.
Will be going again... and again... and again....

Delicious food and relaxed atmosphere. Truly a gem. The service is wonderful and welcoming. The tacos are so delicious and exactly what you would hope for. Also the pumpkin cake is amazing. Thank you!

It's amazing here. The owners are extremely nice and tell you everything in advance. They told us they even cook special things like pizza or lasagna if you order it a day in advance. Some of their tacos had cheese and they just put avocado instead. Everything from the soup to the tostada and all the tacos where incredibly good. And the people (i assume the owners) were so supercute, they help with everything. The place is also cozy, and the prices are reasonable! Especially cause they make everything theirselves (also the salt with sea alge). They also sweeten with stevia on demand if thats a concern for some of you!

My wife and I came for breakfast yesterday. We don’t speak much Spanish so we were concerned about being able to communicate with the staff. Much to our benefit, the husband and wife couple both spoke English and recommended many dishes for little vegan me. Sometimes exploring a new area can be frustrating for a vegan because of missing out on new food culture. Our trip to Comiendo Sano made me feel like I didn’t miss out on anything! We sampled all of their delicious tacos and got a few other plates besides. The food and drinks were all top notch. The building was cute and clean, very well decorated to boot. If I lived close to this restaurant I would definitely become a regular. Best vegan restaurant in Mazatlán! Ciao!

Very welcoming place to eat something vegan - Edit
We went there to check if they had something vegan and the owners explained us how almost everything could be veganized in their menu. We order two tacos of each in the menu and they brought us all the fixings to have a very tasty experience.

Also, we could take our dog with us, and that’s a big pro in Mexico, where the dog culture is almost null.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch here and were more than pleased to have done so. I had 3 unique vegan tacos, Al pastor, de machaca, and del campesino. Each taco was prepared with love and was delicious. My wife had the torta which was fantastic! The bread was toasted to perfection and the homemade vegan patty was exquisite.

We wish we had time to try their spaghetti Or the vegan Pozole!

We ate here twice and it was delicious. The owners talked to us and made sure everything was perfect. They have specials of the day, and if you call a day ahead you can order tamales. I guess their Facebook page tells what the specials are.

Best homemade seitan - Edit
This lovely cozy place with an outside area opened their doors earlier when I asked if I could eat something early in the morning. So much food to choose from, such lovely owners who came to chat with me for a while. They dont eat meat themselves and know what they are talking about. Isabel, if I remember her name correctly, makes her own seitan and it is served un a couple dishes. It is so tasty, so good. If I go back to mazatlan ever, I will see them again for sure
