Delicious vegan options

So grateful to have found a restaurant with vegan options that were healthy and nutritious. The servers were also very nice and gave us great recommendations for our trip. 10/10

Pros: Flavor , Attention , Cleanliness

Great cafe & food, could have bit more options

Really good coffee (bought some of their beans) and one delicious vegan cake/ pan and multiple delicious main dishes (e.g. enchiladas, pasta). Most options on the card are either vegetarian or for meat eaters tho. The ambiente is really nice!

Solid choice

Nice atmosphere, helpful staff, tasty food. Some vegan options, but I wished the breakfast menu had options without egg.

Delicious food, great atmosphere

The menu very clearly indicated what was vegetarian/vegan. They had lots of options, and the atmosphere was very cool!

Desayunos deliciosos

Pros: Comida rica , Precios variados, Porciones grandes

Cons: El tamaño de las bebidas es un poco pequeña , Faltan opciones dulces de desayuno, Faltan opciones de postres veganos

Not great food

Space was nice and hipster-y looking, food really wasn’t great though, things had quite a limp and soggy taste

Bad bad bad

The place is gorgeous. I love the look of the place, but the food was not edible. The pasta and total were just empty calories. I am so disappointed.

Pros: The place is incredibly beautiful.

Cons: Terrible food, No taste

Beware of menu inaccuracies

The item I selected from the menu was clearly marked vegan, but it in fact contained meat.
Aside from that, the food is fine and well presented.

Updated from previous review on 2023-08-03

Pros: Presentation

Cons: Menu inaccurately identified a meat item as vegan.

Good enfrijoladas, underwhelming torta

Went here twice and got the enfrijoladas the first time. Not mind-blowing, but tasty enough, and the fried plantains around the dish was appreciated. Second time around I got the torta, but the mushrooms tasted like the rubbery quartered pieces that come in cans. Not my favorite, it would’ve been much nicer to see some sliced champignons or oyster mushrooms here that were sautéed.

Coco y El alacrán is a Puebla favorite!

From the chilaquiles to the torta to the tacos and pastas and carrot cake, everything vegan here is amazing. The only thing they could do better is serve vegan tamales, but I’m still looking for those in Puebla. I have visited Puebla twice this year and went to this restaurant for the fourth time today.

Pros: Variety of vegan options, Great service in English and Spanish, Adorable decor and vibe

Cons: It may be a con for you that they serve meat…, But I’m traveling with non-veg people so a plus

I went back twice more after this review: vegan tacos to go and later the vegan enfrijoladas. Get the mineral water in the lemonade.

Nice staff great options

The staff was super nice and very patient with my somewhat shaky Spanish. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options. Food was pretty good. I got a vegan pasta dish. My frozen strawberry drink was fresh and refreshing on a warm day.

Pros: Great frozen drinks, Nice staff, Lots of clearly labeled vegan & vegetarian options

This place is amazing!!!

First of all the cafe is super cute. It has reminisce of an old building incorporated with new paintings. the food was delicious. I had red chilaquiles , it had a nut crema which was probably the best I tasted . Had the carrot cake and it was soft and tasty

True vegan options + wholesome ingredients

They have a vegan menu within their non-vegan menu. True vegan options like chilaquiles with nut crema and the most delicious zucchini tacos. Not usually a zucchini superfan, these were thinly sliced, sautéed and flavorful. Yum yum lots of bean options too. Enfrijoladas! The place is very cute in a historic locale with exposed stone and remnants of frescos. Tons of style and wifi too.

Pros: Separate vegan menu, Stylish place, very cute , Whole food ingredients, delicious dishes

Cons: Gets 4 stars - highest available for hybrid menu
