Excellent vegan tacos - Edit
The plate of tacos I had were very flavorful. You could tell they were homemade tortillas and the flavors were spectacular. Will definitely be back for more. Best tacos in Portland without contest.

The place is so cute and very authentic! I got 4 different tacos and the flavors and spice level varied a lot between them. A little greasy but very tasty.

I loved the service and welcoming environment. The food was real good specially the Tingá made from jack fruit, it brought back memories of my childhood. The spice level of the hot sauce is mild not spicy at all but was flavorful and went well with the food. This deserves a 5, some things are out of their control. When it comes to Sopes they are not deep enough and to me they seemed like a soft version of a tostada, with good portions topped on, the food just kept slipping through the sides.

The food here is sooooo good. I usually don’t like jackfruit, but the jackfruit suadero was fantastic. The homemade queso fresco is fantastic. Love it!

Chilango has so many options it was tough to choose. The usual tacos, sopes, quesadillas- but you choose your vegan filling. I wish I could have tried them all! Also tried a holjaldrita, which reminded me of sloppy joes, better than mom ever made! I also love that they have fresh squeezed OJ! Delicious all around.

This is the best Mexican food I've had in a long time! The flavors are fantastic and the range of salsa spiciness is great. We shared chips and salsa, I had the sope and my friend had a quesadilla. We finished everything and will definitely be back 😊

The quailty was exceptional and I loved the flavor. I'm not a huge spice person and their food had just enough for you to feel it, but not enough to send you over. The horchata was amazing and wish I would have taken one home!

Nice big dining area, delicious food, refreshing drinks! I appreciated the more traditional impossible-based taco filling, or the delicious rajas, along with the more creative chicharron made with Ota tofu, and tinga jackfruit. The horchata with espresso was perfect and next time I'll try something from the cocktail menu!

My mouth is watering right now just thinking about the tostadas I ate there last night. This is easily the best Mexican food I have ever had, and DEFINITELY the best vegan Mexican food. My father (who is not vegan) thought it was totally delicious, and remarked that he felt good after eating (not weighed down, as can sometimes happen after a meal). I'm currently trying to figure out if I can swing by again today to get the tostadas, even though I live out in Beaverton. They really are THAT good!!

They’re back! Just a few doors down on Alberta, with a full restaurant space. The house-made almond cheese quesadillas are worth the trip, alone. Also, the garlicky mushrooms and esquites… wow. The café de olla with oat milk is wonderful. The made-to-order jugo de naranja is a necessity. I highly recommended the new “Hojaldrita” which is a slider taking its cues from a quesadilla. Looking forward to my next visit already! #Veganuary

I ordered three tacos. I'm pretty sure the menu I looked at in person did not mention the spiciness as it does on the menu online. Had I known, I would not have ordered the tinga because it was way too hot for my low tolerance. Even the "medium" spiciness of the chicharron was a little too much for me. Also, the tacos are very oily. Otherwise, the flavors were good.
