Hier gegeten voor m’n verjaardag. We kozen voor het 5-gangen menu. Alles was super lekker. Normaal ben ik niet zo van de lokale groenten uit angst voor van dat flauwe Hollandse eten, maar dat is hier helemaal niet aan de orde. Deze mensen kunnen echt goed koken! Super goede smaakcombinaties en uiteraard alles super vers! De bediening was daarnaast vriendelijk, oprecht en authentiek. Ook de setting was erg fijn; hier kan je ontspannen en sfeervol dineren. Zeker een aanrader!

Well, this was a really pleasant surprise. Since my wife and I switched to a plant-based diet, we have tasted lots of lovely foods over the years. But it does not happen often that everything clicked so perfectly as at Bonboon. The warm and welcoming atmosphere. The delicious amuse-bouches. The wonderful dishes. It made for a wonderful dining experience.

Really glad we made the treck out of the city to visit this gem. The only downside would be location as everything was fantastic. We has the 3 course menu and it was just really lovely, they even changed a few things for me for my nut allergy. Have already decided to return for Christmas meal when my family visits for the USA😄Definitely give this one a try.

This cozy restaurant in East is absolutely great. The taste of the dishes is great and only 35 euros for a 3 course menu. To me this is way too cheap for the quality of food you get served. The dishes are not average, but high quality plantbased. And if you have missed blue cheese..go for the cheese platter. The place is run by ladies btw :-)

This place is one of the best vegan restaurants I’ve been to. It is quite small and simple, but the food is amazing. They offer only three starters, mains and desserts to choose from, but I seriously had trouble deciding what to have since everything sounded so delicious (and it also was!!). All dishes were beautifully presented and offered new tasting experiences. The woman there was really friendly and helpful. I can truly recommend it!

Do not let the location or place itself fool you. The food here is incredible!! Utterly the best vegan food I have ever tasted, anywhere in the world. If there was a sixth, seventh or tenth star, I would give that to this place. The restaurant is a bit out of the way and the place itself is a little sparse, utterly disguising the gastronomic delights that the incredibly talented chef has up her sleeve. If you like vegan food, you will love this place!

Great for a special occasion, or if you want to spoil yourself! But also not outrageously expensive for Amsterdam, so don’t feel you have to restrict yourself.😄New menu every season, very willing to cater for gluten free, usually have options and also can adapt.

What I experienced in this vegan restaurant is great food and friendly service. In enjoyed 3-course meal deal with their wine suggestions (great option). This place is cosy and I felt welcomed there. What I would do differently is putting away that tacky bean art painting and printed out animal stock photos on the wall, doesnt go together with rest of the vibe and "restaurant" image in my opinion. This place has a great potential, I will come here again.

There are lots of great vegan junk food places in Amsterdam. This isn't one of them. Its the sort of place to go for a special occasion. The food allows the vegetables to take centre stage and if they are fresh, cooked properly and with a bit of imagination will always beat processed stuff hands down. we had the asparagus, which was lovely, but the oyster mushrooms and grilled tofu were amazing. the tofu had a real taste of egg. If your in Amsterdam its well worth a visit.

Samen met een vriendin (niet vegan) heb ik bij Bonboon een 3-gangen diner gegeten. Zowel voor-, hoofd- en nagerecht waren heerlijk. We hebben er allebei erg van genoten, en zouden heel graag snel weer terug komen. De prijs-kwaliteit verhouding vind ik uitstekend. Op de foto's zie je onze gangen, het smaakte minstens zo goed als het eruit ziet! Eerlijk waar alleen maar lof voor Bonboon. Zeker de moeite waard!
