Fully vegan bistro in the heart of Copenhagen. Serves breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week. Menu changes quarterly, but usually there is pasta, bowls, traditional smørrebrød and burgers on the menu along with other options. Open Mon-Fri 12:00-23:00, Sat-Sun 10:00-23:00. Kitchen closes 9pm.

Best restaurant I’ve ever been too - Edit
Best food I’ve ever had with great ambiance and kind staff. Went twice when in Copenhagen. Once for breakfast where I got the tofu scramble on toast with an americano and danish. All of it was amazing! Went back for an apérol spritz, pasta carbonara, and tiramisu. All vegan and divine! Must visit!

Pleasant setting with friendly staff, but quite expensive and although the food felt good quality and looked good, it was quite lacking in flavour - especially the carbonara. The arancini was really nice but a tiny portion for £10 . I don't think I'd go back for dinner, but maybe try breakfast or lunch.

It's not always easy to find a restaurant with many choices for vegans in Copenhagen, so Bistro Verde was great to find. We had the Buddha bowls which were very generous and varied in taste and texture, filling and delicious. Plenty of other more regular options too which would satisfy most tastes.

Awesome choices of smørrerbrød and other sandwiches. Also nice choices of breakfast and dinner. For all categories they only have it for certain time slots although we saw them make exceptions so you can also order something from the "dinner" menu at noon. They also had great desserts.

Had the carbonara (with vegan Parmesan!), peach lemonade and a flødeboller for dessert (marshmallow covered in chocolate). Staff were so lovely and food was incredible, fancy going back for the traditional danish food.

This is definitely one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. In addition to the absolutely amazing food (we had the cabonara and oyster mushrooms), they have walls full of dog photos. 🐶

Don’t understand people in the reviews are marking this place down for price - it’s typical of all places in Copenhagen and you are round the corner from Nyhavn!

Lovely vegan Bistro worth a visit - Edit
Friendly staff and quite a short menu which I appreciate. We ate pasta carbonara and lemon cheesecake, both good and satisfying. If anything the pasta could've tasted more (salt fixes most of it) and the cheesecake had a bit too much or the coconut taste from the cream cheese.

I visited this vegan restaurant near Nyhavn, Copenhagen in February 2025, and had a great experience. I ordered the fried oyster mushrooms and tomato soup—both dishes were delicious and the portions were generous. I was too full to try dessert, but I’ll definitely come back next time I am in Copenhagen.

Excellent selection on the menu. I went for a pesto tofu sandwich and was not disappointed. Portions on the small side when it comes to sandwiches though, so I’d recommend ordering a side as well.

Small cozy space. Stopped in to make a reservation and sat and ended up having coffee and a cinnamon roll. Went back for dinner that night and had sourdough with olive oil, juicy marbles with radish sauce and potato’s, carbonara pasta, and capped it with Bischoff cheesecake. Generous portions (we couldn’t finish). Sat at an indoor table next to a well-behaved golden retriever and 5mo old chihuahua. That may have made the meal even better. We were missing our pups and got to love on some at dinner. ❤️🐶

Great menu with lots of varied and interesting options. We visited during breakfast hours and had the porridge and the chickpea pancake. They were both delicious but the portions were a little too small for the price in my opinion.

I had such a delicious dinner here, I had the carbonara and was blown away, when it arrived I checked it was an all vegan place because I got worried for a moment! I also got one of their cinnamon rolls as a takeaway and it was amazing! Highly recommended for your trip and it’s in a great location, 5 mines from Indre Bay!

We had our first evening meal here after arriving in Copenhagen. There wasn't a huge menu, but what we had was nice, and it was good to have a fully vegan place so near the busy touristy area where we found ourselves in that first few hours of our trip.
