Andy’s is a huge asset to Fairfield!

Huge selection of healthy juices

This place has a large selection of juice and smoothie options, and Andy is very nice and helpful. It's located inside of the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center, if you go in the main big glass doors you will see it straight ahead past some tables.
My partner got a smoothie Andy told us about that wasn't on the menu, can't remember everything that was in but I remember it had espresso, blueberries, and chocolate protein powder (it tasted sooo good!). I got a Carrot & Greens Juice with carrot, apple, kale, and dandelion greens, which was also very tasty. We also got a cup of vegan corn chowder to share, which was delicious.
We got our items to go, and we brought our own metal straws but he also told us that all of his carry out packaging that looks like plastic is actually made of corn plastic, so it's compostable. He said you can't actually put it in your compost pile, but it will biodegrade faster in the landfill than regular plastics, and also some places have special composting facilities for corn plastics. I always appreciate when businesses in Fairfield use non-plastic carry out materials (because most are still stuck on styrofoam) so I was happy to hear that!

Pros: Large selection of tasty juices and smoothies, Sustainable carry out packaging, Very helpful, friendly owner

Cons: Only open 11 am - 4 pm, would be nice after 5 pm, Ambiance is not great in the convention center
