Innovative and locally sourced

We had the brunches, a mixture of the basic one and the deluxe one. The food was great, the scrambled tofu especially!, our only slight criticism would be that maybe there could be more variety on each plate, especially for the deluxe brunch. Otherwise the service was very friendly and the place had a nice chilled vibe (although watch out, there was no lock on the toilet, be sure to knock!!)

Pros: Vegan, local produce, friendly

Cons: variety

Hello to Aloha

This is a really pleasant and relaxing place for a healthy brunch or breakfast. I had a nice hummus wrap and a cup of tea which was a bit like green tea with soya milk. The wrap was tasty but a bit sparse on the fillings. My partner seemed to enjoy his tofu sandwich but he wasn't ecstatic. It's vegan so I'm giving 4 cows for the experience, location and interior but the food is probably 3 cows.

Pros: vegan, very friendly , location

Cons: not very imaginative

Why Aye Five O

Healthy and peaceful place selling all sorts of smoothies, toasties, sandwiches and wraps as well as a multitude of breakfast and brunch items. We had a soup of the day, a hummus wrap, a smoked tofu toastie served on rye bread and a couple drinks which came to just under €20. Happy enough. An enjoyable experience in a wonderful part of the city.

Pros: healthy , vegan , friendly

Very pretty and delicious

We loved this café, it´s so nice and quiet. The staff is friendly and the food was very very good. They use very healthy and yummy ingredients and I would have liked to tried every dish on the menu. Mexican Burger, Aloha Sandwich and Acai are the things I can recommend so far!

Something for everybody

The cafe is located close to the natural history museum and a lovely park. I liked the menu and I am sure everyone will find something they like since you can order burger, sandwiches, noodles, ..
The noodles I had were quite good and my boyfriend really liked his seitan burger. I wished we would have been there on the weekend since thats when they also offer pancakes. They also have a variety of cakes tasting quite good and they come in huge pieces so you totally get what you pay for! Nice seating area and friendly staff.

Pros: Big seating area, Good value

Lovely café

Aloha offers great vegan options, especially for breakfast and brunch. It's a bit expensive and I think they could go beyond the hummus/avocado toast ;) But staff is super friendly and the food was tasty.

Fingerlicking

Meals are juicy and tasty. I have never tasted such perfectly baked sweet potatoes. I ate seitan burger and it was fulfilling, delicious and guilt free of course 😊. Also great owners. It's a little family business, support them!

Aloha

The Aloha café is a cosy little place, with charming staff and delicious food. We had the Exotic burger and the Porto burger, which both came with oven baked sweet potato fries. Very tasty!

The overall experience was definitely positive, and we will surely return.

Pros: Supertasty food , Friendly staff

Cons: none

Excellent brunch

We went there specially for their weekend brunch. It's a fixed menu for €15,90 that includes fresh juice, coffee/tea, (several types of) bread and spreads, scrambled tofu, salad, tofu carpaccio, pancakes/cake slice, yogurt/porridge with fruit. They have a cheaper brunch menu, around €10, with less items included.

Everything was really good and the staff was super friendly. It's a relaxing atmosphere, which is even surprising for a café located in a busy neighbourhood (Príncipe Real).

We highly recommend it and will surely go back.

Pros: Excellent brunch, Staff, Location

Great little cafe

Hubby and I went here for breakfast and we got the Aloha breakfast - a lemon water to start, then gluten free quinoa toast with fig jam, granola and fresh fruit with the choice of soja or coconut yoghurt and an organic coffee to finish. filling and good price with friendly staff who speak a bit of English.

Pros: great price, nice interior, all bio/organic, glute
