That was the absolute best pizza we’ve ever tried. I got a vegan pepperoni, and my non-vegan partner got a truffle mushroom vegetarian pizza. We were both shocked, literally dreaming of this pizza for weeks after we visited Utrecht. 100% will visit again. The deserts are also amazing!

The food was very nice. Pizza a bit monotone. Wrap was filling!
Desserts were lovely. We asked the lemon tartelette, but they first served the lemon cake. Happened to the table next to us too.
Would be handy though if they label vegan options on the menu (is noted on desserts menu, but not on main menu).
The waiter did say everything could be ordered vegan, except the burratas.
Lovely interior, has more of a restaurant feel. Seatings are combination of bench against the wall and chairs (all with cushions thankfully). As the place filled, it did get pretty loud.
One small step to get in, restaurant on ground floor. Steep stairs down to toilets. Clean. No accessible toilet.

Read moreTo start, tables are very close to each other to the point that staff could barely do their job. Some tables were so close that if we were seated there I would have left.
Vegan options are clearly labeled and enough. Starters were fine, we liked both of them. Mains however were not. My pizza was soggy, had very little toppings and they also weren't spread out properly. The person I was with had the gnocchi but it didn't look or taste like gnocchi. It was way too doughy and burnt in some places.
When dessert was served I noticed chocolate ice cream instead of the honeycomb that I ordered. No one said anything when or after I ordered. I told the staff and asked for maybe a vanilla because that would fit better with a lemon tart but they seemed to shrug it of and told me they only had chocolate, everything else was sold out. I got no real excuse or compensation.
Pros: Nice interior, mostly friendly service
Cons: Tables way too close to each other, food not always great, average service

I had the grilled pumpkin bowl which was very nice. However the portion was rather small and contained no added carbs. So I stayed hungry☹️. Quality was very good which made up a bit for the lack of carbs and the high price. Wine was vegan which is a big plus for me. If you want to make sure you have a spot on Friday for lunch best is to make a reservation. The place was packed. The lady at the counter seemed rather irritated about me not having a reservation… despite that my visit wasn’t what I had expected I’ll go back for pizza since the reviews about the pizza are good. Not entirely vegan, but everything is vegetarian with many vegan options.

Desserts we had were amazing and all of them are vegan. It’s practically worth booking a trip to Utrecht JUST for this restaurant. Oh and coffee drinks are only €1.50 before 11am 🤩

The best pizza and dessert in years. I had a mushy bowl, note it is a cold pasta salad dish with baby kale and mushrooms, I was a bit surprised. The mushroom pizza was veganised and tasted great with truffle oil and rocket. The dessert looked all appealing, I took the orange mousse with ganache, it was creamy,sweet, orangy delicious. Along with a shot of their lemoncello it was amazing. The place was very busy, reservation is advised.

One of the things that is both wonderful and frustrating about Utrecht is how lively it is every night.
Read moreEven on a Monday night every place is packed and crowded; when we went in without a reservation the only seats that were available to us were the tables in the front room with no backs, for us super uncomfortable seating.
Our waitress was lovely and helpful however as were the multiple vegan options. There might be something a little lost in language translation but I believe she said that it was a vegan restaurant made vegetarian a short while ago. So many of the cheeses etc. are vegan.
And let me tell you, vegan cheeses in the Netherlands are freaking amazing.
We got the deal in which you got a pasta or bowl, a full-size pizza with a side.
I have to say the pasta was my favorite, we got the puffy perfect Papperdelle, so good I felt like fighting Chandler over it. The pizza was delicious as well tho' and the Greek salad with vegan feta was delectable, haven't had a Greek salad that tasted like that since I went vegan many years ago.
The service was great, the food was terrific, the only thing that we would change is making a reservation so we could get a seat in the other side of the restaurant where the seats have backs.

I like that they use seasonal ingredients in their pizzas, salads, and pasta. I also like that everything is vegetarian by default, and a lot can be made plant based by asking. The food tastes good and is a reasonable price for hand made pizza.
