Wat hebben we genoten van de prachtige sushi, - mooi om te zien, en eerlijk, want minstens zo smakelijk! Met z'n zessen hebben we verschillende rolls kunnen proeven, evenals de gunkan en de zeewier. Alles was even heerlijk.

The sushi were really high quality and presented in a nice way. But the best thing is that the tuna and shrimp tasted like and had the texture of fish and shrimp. Also super friendly staff. Will definitely come back here!!

Vegan sushi? That sounds like an impossibility. Sushi is based on fish! That’s why the “Vegan sushi bar” decided to not only find a substitute for fish, but to improve on the very concept.
Read moreBased on the advice of the Japanese chef (!) we ordered “shrimp-less tempura” and “flambé salmon”. Both are a delight for the senses. The sushi is presented beautifully, with both fresh (less spicy) and chemical (very spicy) wasabi. Instead of white rice, brown rice is used. And to add to the fake shrimp and fake salmon a well chosen bouquet of ingredients has been used. The taste is nothing like classic sushi, but in fact better!
To add to the joy, the vegan sushi bar also serves vegan miso soup and very tasty sea weed.
Although not cheap, a visit to The Vegan Sushi bar feels like a real treat. The quality of the food is high, the creativity of the chef is top notch and even the presentation is beautiful. Full marks!

Didn't know vegan sushi could be so good! - Edit
I was a bit unsure about going to this place, as I've never been a big fan of sushi (also the fish-based ones). But this place just shows how amazing vegan sushi can be. We tried 4 or 5 different types, all were delicious. I highly recommend!

Most likely the best vegan sushi I’ve ever had. Appearance and taste absolutely lovely. Only downside: one single roll costs around 12-15$ and you won’t feel saturated at all

Good sushi they were quite busy when we came around 19:15-19:40 ish. But they were welcoming and nice. Their service was fine. But the sushi rice was loose so it fell apart when you took it up. I tasted really good but I wouldn't recommend to get So many fried things which we did.

I don't know how to explain it but it felt like something was missing to complete the dishes. To make it top notch compared to the price of 58 euros (with tap water). But after all I would still recommend that you go see for yourself.

Really great vegan sushi. They have plenty to choose from so there's something for everyone. I loved how creative their rolls are, you won't find this sushi anywhere else and it all tastes really good. They delivered on time as well even though we ordered during rush hour. 10/10 recommend

(EN) Really tasty sushi! We had three signature rolls for the two of us (the No chicken Teriyaki, Flambé salmon and Cheesy tuna). Each signature roll consists of 8 pieces. I've never eaten salmon or tuna before in my life but my boyfriend (who is also vegan) thinks the sushi tasted like he remembers it and I also liked it very much! 😋 We will definitely order here again!

Thankfully for once some tasty sushi to choose from. Instead of just the standard avocado. We love the sweet potato and the mushroom one. I love pesto so enjoyed the green roll, my friend not so much. Asked for extra ginger & wasabi, this was not a problem what so ever. Got it delivered to the house, communication was all around good (called to the restaurant direct to get them to deliver, instead of via the expensive delivery services) If your doubting, give them I try. I really enjoyed the red wild rice as well!

Ordered in and had 3 sushi rolls and 1 maki roll for 43 euros. I thought it was outrageously expensive but it turned out to be very filling, so we could’ve done with one roll less. Everything was very good too, so would reorder.

I liked the sushi. But we had to order more so we wouldn't leave with hunger. In the end more then 70 euro for 2 people and I didn't think it was worth that. Nice experience, but I will not return.
