Kind of expensive for something simple - Edit
$24 for a sandwich and a mocha seems excessive, even on a public holiday. My friend and i both got the veg bolognaise toastie, and it was a disappointment - essentially just vegan beef crumble with cheese in garlic toast. I'll give them another chance when I'm in the CBD, but you can find better for the money.

Great Lunch Spit - Edit
Fabulous toasted sandwiches and great coffee in a lovely quieter arcade. This is a small spot doing toasted vegan sandwiches and drinks well. Definitely worth a lunch stop and easy to find.

Wow - Edit
Thank you, Happy Cow and reviewers for helping me discover this place as a visitor to Melbourne. Understandably popular with the tofu scramble with ham, cheddar and hollandaise jaffle being absolutely delicious and just one of 14 jaffle options.

I LOVE JAFFLES - Edit
This is my favourite cafe in the CBD, I think I've tried most of their menu now and it's all amazing. Reasonable pricing, great portion size (very filling!) and nice little laneway to chill in and relax with a delicious jaffle

Great pastries and lunch options - Edit
I stopped in to get a croissant and a jaffle and was overwhelmed by choices. I ended up getting three croissants, two jaffles, a piece of carrot cake and a mocha just because everything looked so good. I got the tofu scramble jaffle and the bean and cheese jaffle. Both were great. Really nice place for a quick bite.

Got the tofu scramble with hollandaise sauce. Nothing to write home about but a great simple breakfast item with decent coffee. Would rate a 3.5 if HappyCow supported it.

Lives rent free in my head - Edit
I had the tofu scramble jaffle and it was the breakfast sandwich that I didn’t know I’d been dreaming about. The bread was crispy, the cheeze was gooey, the tofu was soft and seasoned well. Now that I’ve experienced this, I’ve only made future hangovers worse for myself because I’m only visiting here and won’t be able to satisfy any future inevitable cravings. 12/10, this jaffle is right up there on my list of “foods I’m going to think about for the next 10 years.”

Lovely little laneway cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. Great selection of all vegan toast, desserts and drinks. Super friendly staff, lots of regular customers, and efficient service. I got the bean and cheese jaffle which was quite filling and very comforting. They also had readymade sandwiches, chocolate cake and sandwich cookies available.

Melbourne’s best toasties - Edit
I’m from Adelaide and always wanted to try this place and I’m so glad I finally did because it totally lived up to the reputation! We tried the tofu scram, spicy pulled beef, chick’n & feta and the buffalo chick’n and all were perfect for a delicious brekky! (Forgot to get photos of them all)

Tried the tofu scramble jaffle for breakfast. It hit the spot. Scarily accurate vegan versions of animal products. Very friendly staff who helped with a lunch recommendation for later in the day for this out-of-towner.

This place is awesome, such a valuable place for vegans to get their jaffle fix. Whenever I'm in the city I'm thinking about approximately how far away from it I am at any given moment.
