Top tier vegan bar food! - Edit
Tirangle Tavern has been one of my go to places for years, and they are still coming up with shockingly good vegan specials, in addition to the menu classics. My standard order is the vegan roast beef, which is made with dripping marinated seitan, topped with thier in house "horsey sauce," I usually add some broccoli rabe for a full South Philly bar food experience. That said, they always have at least one vegan special going, and each one seems to top the last. Case in point, the Dusseldorf pizza that's on special right now (December 2022). Beer mustard cheese, beyond brats, saurkraut, and mozz, it's incredible. The annual vegan gobbler is another must have.

Best Vegan Cheesesteak - Edit
I finally got to try the best vegan cheesesteak in Philadelphia (or at least that was what I was told.). Similar to what I remember as a child eating this signature Philly sandwich.

Delicious! - Edit
Great cheese steak and mozzarella sticks! First time I’ve had vegan mozzarella sticks, I was dubious but they were delicious. Would be a 5 if non-veg restaurant 5 ratings were allowed. We got delivery and everything was packaged well and hot.

Best vegan cheestreak I've had! - Edit
This place has lots of vegan options. I loved the vegan cheese steak. Their cheese sauce is fantastic! The wings were good, but could have been a little crisper. Get a boozy wooder ice to wash it all down!

Pizza and Wings - Edit
We ordered delivery from this place so I can't say anything about the atmosphere, but the food was great. We were stranded in Philadelphia for the night due to a canceled connecting flight and I was so happy to find this place on HappyCow not too far from the airport. We tried the buffalo seitan wings, vegan totcho pizza, and sweet potato fries. The seitan wings were AMAZING.

Super good all around - Edit
I ordered their vegan mozzarella sticks, garlic bread, mac and cheese balls, and vegan white pizza. Everything there was so delicious! Though I wasn't super into the garlic bread as it was the hard kind, which I know some people like but... I like soft garlic bread.

As vegan-friendly as it gets - Edit
The garbage plate this Philly Vegan Restaurant Week was everything. Very good Buffalo wings as well, although I was even more impressed with the vegan blue cheese! Delicious and reasonably priced, especially when you take into account the ACME parking lot across the street :)

For the vegans and non vegans - Edit
I love this tavern. Great pizza. The bbq “chicken” is my favorite. Tons of options. Love taking friends here because they have both vegan and non vegan options. Shwazzy is a master at what he does. Always a cool new special on the menu too.

some of the best vegan mozz sticks & wings I've ever had - Edit
Had mozz sticks and wings (they let you do half buffalo and half bbq if you're indecisive like me). Everything was so good I can't wait to go back and try sammies or pizza. Friendly service and an overall good vibe.

Very impressive - Edit
Triangle Tavern is so good at vegan food, that I dont know why they dont just go 100% vegan.
Read moreThey have a really good vegan philly cheese steak.
When you order fries, they hook you the heck up.
They have like the most affordable vegan pizza in the city.
Really, their whole vegan menu has surpassed my expectations. And it's so dang cheap!(relative to vegan restaurants 😅)
I couldn't reccomend this place more.

Must try for vegans in Philly. Vegan bar food is difficult to pull off but this place nailed it. Seitan wings were perfect & crunchy, vegan ranch was a must have with them. Also had the cheese steak and mozzarella sticks, they were great. Highly recommend!

True Innovation in Plant-Based Cuisine - Edit
Few restaurants can even come close to extraordinary experience offered at Triangle Tavern. This restaurant and their head chef Mike Schwartz are true innovators of plant-based cuisine. With a wide array of vegan options including multiple new and exciting vegan specials that are constantly changing, there is always something for whatever mood you’re in. Menu staples like their vegan roast beef sandwich, vegan cheesesteak, and vegan pizzas compete with the quality and artisanship of other fully vegan restaurants. Also offered are some incredible unique menu items like vegan mozzarella sticks, which are very unusual to find anywhere else! Additionally, there is a splendid assortment of vegan desserts offered by Vegan Treats Bakery that are constantly changing. To top everything off, Triangle Tavern’s beer selection is also always exciting and offers a rotation of craft beers.
Read moreThe only thing this restaurant can be faulted on is the fact that they’re not fully vegan YET but I believe in due time, they certainly will be. I would implore everyone from or visiting the Philadelphia area to make a trip to one of the greatest and most exciting restaurants out there!
Pros: Lots of Vegan Options, Exciting Specials, Great Beer Selection
Cons: Somewhat Pricey (For Some Menu Items), Not Fully Vegan

MY GO-TO! - Edit
one of my absolute favorite places to go to! Not only are their regular vegan menu items good but they always have specials! I got the baked ziti pizza special last time I was there and it was OUT OF THIS WORLD! They also always offer two vegan cakes for dessert options and I have been in love with each that I’ve tried! A MUST SEE IF YOURE VISITING!

Good late night comfort food! - Edit
Triangle tavern did not disappoint! Very delish!
Read moreThe mozzarella sticks were yummy and I’m guessing they use violife cheese? Seemed like it! A little more breading would have been good because the breading was a little uneven. But they were yummy and the spices in the breading were good!
Pizza was good too! I got it with vegan meatball on it, would do that again! But, ask for extra sauce since it was a little dry.
The eggplant sandwich (to right of pizza) was probably the biggest disappontment of the bunch, wouldn’t get it again. Not saucey enough for me! And not much eggplant; more bread.
Wings were very good!! I’m sensitive to spice, super sensitive. But these were great! (Got buffalo..)
I would say it was worth the out of the way stop on our way home! Yum.
