Mac and Cheese Heaven - Edit
Best vegan food in Scotland. If you don’t order the Mac and Cheese (with bacon!) you’re doing it wrong. Staff all very friendly too. Nice vibe, some plants for sale.

So good went twice! - Edit
I loved everything, from the decoration, to the staff service and of course the food was incredible. The taste of the bacn, the scrambled tofu and the "meat" was very real. My non-vegan parents loved it! We would have gone again if they weren't closed for the holidays. I will definitely go back when I go back to Edinburgh. #Veganuary

We also shared a delightful pot of titan tonka white peony tea.

The Sly Fox is such a lovely spot. It has a very cosy vibe with lovely decor and atmosphere and the menu is all so tasty sounding. Difficult to decide what to order, but so far everything tried has been very tasty. Staff also very friendly and helpful. A must visit in Leith.

Perfect - Edit
Called in yesterday and immediately felt welcome by the attentive member of staff.
Read moreMy partner had the fried portobello Mushrooms with fries and I opted for the Mac n "Cheese"
Both were delicious, with the place having a lovely ambiance, and our dog was looked after with a bowl of cook water (after walking 20000 steps, she needed it!)
Edinburgh is lucky to have these independent businesses still going despite Covid and the cost of living.
Glad we helped support them during our 4 day visit to this fine city
Pros: Good food, Welcoming , Ambiance

fair prices, lovely staff, and yummy food!
Read morethey had a burns week special of vegan haggis as a starter. this was my first time having haggis and it was delish!! so was the (peppercorn?) sauce that came with it😄i then had the satan burger and kimchi fries which wasn’t quite what i was expecting. i was hoping for a big phat saucy burger and loaded fries, but it was more tame than that, just a decent burger and fries with kimchi on the side. non the less it was yummy and i had to take leftovers home bc i was stuffed! wish i had gotten to try some desserts😡
edit:
went here again about 6 month later and it’s just as good!! yum

Beautifully presented and hearty portions were promptly served from a varied and ambitious menu. As a Hungarian goulash aficionado I loved trying the Czech version with potato pancakes and fresh chilli garnish.

Excellent food and service - Edit
Decided to opt for some Czech vegan food during my stay over the festival weekend (I ran the half marathon) and was not disappointed. I opted for Mac n cheese plus quite a few cakes! Utterly delicious! Service was excellent too. Laid back and excellent choice for families or those not wanting hum drum of busy city centre. Thanks so much. Highly recommended

Fab Fab Fab! - Edit
What a lovely little vegan cafe offering a range of toasted sandwiches, breakfasts, soups, and much more. I was spoilt for choice and decided to go for the breakfast. Made a lovely change to have haggis and potato cakes - both of which were delicious. If I lives here I would be there all the time so I could make my way though the menu.
Read moreThere are a great range of cakes. I had the 'honey' and plum cake - OMG it was so lovely. It's not a huge place but very chilled and I'll be back when I'm next around.

Great for brunch - Edit
I tried their pancakes and my partner had their potato pancakes which was a bit too sour for my taste but he really loved it. I was pretty satisfied with my sweet pancakes which were packed with fruits and syrup. The interior of the cafe is really cute too. I would definitely go back.
