Wowza. Everything we ate was delicious. The garlic parm fries were out of this world - one of the most delicious meals I’ve eaten! The Cesar salad and spicy chick wrap were great too - definitely safe options if you’re a picky eater! The salt & chili tofu was divine. #Veganuary

Tasty and expensive - Edit
At the recommendation of some other reviewers, I tried one of the mushroom burgers (I chose the Secret Saucy) and the Salt & Chilli Hashbrowns. Both were good but my meal was €27 just for those plus a bottle of kombucha, although it was a fairly small lunch portion-wise. The mushroom steaks and the garlic sauce greatly dominated the Secret Saucy, but I enjoyed it despite the relatively simple flavors. The Salt & Chilli Hashbrowns were nicely spicy by average standards, not Irish standards, and had a more complex flavor overall than my burger. My server was friendly and helpful in choosing my order, although she didn’t stop by again after she served my food, so I eventually got up and asked for my bill after waiting a while to see if she would bring it over. I agree with some previous reviewers that the music is strangely loud; it was shaking the furniture at lunchtime on a Sunday although the restaurant was nearly empty.

Saucy burgers ❤️ - Edit
The burgers here are saucy, but tasty. Friendly staff too. Only thing stopping me from giving a full five stars are the very loud music, and the lack of cutlery for the messy burgers.

A Dublin fave! - Edit
The food was so delicious! We went there twice!
Read moreWe got the Big WAP and the McDaddy fries one time (and a Dae ice cream sandwich!)
Saucy Cow also has a pretty hip vibe.
Dinner time gets pretty packed for the small-ish space but it’s a lot better after 8.
The pricing seems pretty normal for vegan burgers (especially for ones with Beyond Meat).
Pros: Delicious!!, Cool vibes
Cons: Feels cramped at peak times

Very delicious vegan pub food on offer, but quite pricey. 14€ for a small burger without sides is steep even if it’s Dublin…

Excellent vegan ‘junk food’! - Edit
We stopped into the Saucy Cow for an early dinner because it was one of just a few fully vegan menu options in the area. Really cool ambiance, great service, and the food was tasty. The portions are giant. Try the Hot Papi, a southern style fried oyster mushroom sandwich with buffalo sauce. Delish!

Excellent mushroom burger - Edit
I’ve been trying to avoid basic burgers on this trip—seems like that’s the default vegan option at omni restaurants, and also the default vegan restaurant—but I had no regrets about this fried mushroom burger. It was surprisingly light tasting, with plenty of pickles and a highly garlicky sauce.

I had The Space Cowboy, and I must say it’s the best vegan Burger I’ve ever had, so meat like in both flavour and texture. Perfect siege for an afternoon smack, and if you add some fries on the side perfect for dinner.

Disappointed - Edit
I was so looking forward to Saucy Cow Dublin after eating at the branch in Cork but left feeling really disappointed. The chick’n burger was good, nice flavour, a bit of spice and a good texture. The mushrooms are a good flavour and crispy but disintegrate in your mouth, no other texture or mouth feel, sort of turn to dust, they were also very oily and made me feel a little queasy after. The chips were hard and dry. Not the best experience.
