Died & went to vegan heaven

Wowza. Everything we ate was delicious. The garlic parm fries were out of this world - one of the most delicious meals I’ve eaten! The Cesar salad and spicy chick wrap were great too - definitely safe options if you’re a picky eater! The salt & chili tofu was divine. #Veganuary

Pros: Garlic parm fries , Tofu, Vibes

Tasty and expensive

At the recommendation of some other reviewers, I tried one of the mushroom burgers (I chose the Secret Saucy) and the Salt & Chilli Hashbrowns. Both were good but my meal was €27 just for those plus a bottle of kombucha, although it was a fairly small lunch portion-wise. The mushroom steaks and the garlic sauce greatly dominated the Secret Saucy, but I enjoyed it despite the relatively simple flavors. The Salt & Chilli Hashbrowns were nicely spicy by average standards, not Irish standards, and had a more complex flavor overall than my burger. My server was friendly and helpful in choosing my order, although she didn’t stop by again after she served my food, so I eventually got up and asked for my bill after waiting a while to see if she would bring it over. I agree with some previous reviewers that the music is strangely loud; it was shaking the furniture at lunchtime on a Sunday although the restaurant was nearly empty.

Pros: Good food, especially the spicy hashbrowns , Nice variety of options

Cons: Expensive for the portion sizes , Loud music

Saucy burgers ❤️

The burgers here are saucy, but tasty. Friendly staff too. Only thing stopping me from giving a full five stars are the very loud music, and the lack of cutlery for the messy burgers.

NB! Chips portions are HUGE, one is enough between two.

Always incredible!

Visited multiple times but highly recommend the mushroom bites and the salt & chili hash browns! You won’t be disappointed in whatever you order!

They never miss

So many great options, all vegan!
The oyster mushroom or chicken options are both amazing, the Christmas Sambo absolutely slaps!!
The side portions are huge and a great price, the mains are a bit pricey, service is always very friendly

De la Junk-Food comme on adore ♥️♥️ Les portions sont généreuses et tout est incroyablement bon ! De plus, la déco est très cool. Parfait pour convaincre nos ami.es omnivores un peu réticents !

Best vegan burger in town

Saucy Cow in Dublin is a vegan burger haven! The friendly staff and positive vibes make every visit special. Their plant-based burgers are a flavor explosion, with perfectly seasoned patties and creative toppings. Saucy Cow stands out not just for the delicious food but also for the genuine passion of the staff. Whether you're a dedicated vegan or just curious, this spot is a must-visit in Dublin. Be ready for a grateful and amazed dining experience, leaving with a heart full of appreciation.

A Dublin fave!

The food was so delicious! We went there twice!
We got the Big WAP and the McDaddy fries one time (and a Dae ice cream sandwich!)
Saucy Cow also has a pretty hip vibe.
Dinner time gets pretty packed for the small-ish space but it’s a lot better after 8.
The pricing seems pretty normal for vegan burgers (especially for ones with Beyond Meat).

Pros: Delicious!!, Cool vibes

Cons: Feels cramped at peak times

Delicious but expensive for portion size

Very delicious vegan pub food on offer, but quite pricey. 14€ for a small burger without sides is steep even if it’s Dublin…

Pros: Vegan burgers, Delicious food, Friendly staff

Cons: Small portions , Just pub and fast food, Expensive

Excellent place

Very central location, very good and delicious food. I was missing the taste of a good hamburger and once I tried this one I went crazy. I take my friends always to this place whenever I'm in town.

Pros: Delicious , Fully vegan, Central

Cons: It's not necessarily "fast food"

Excellent vegan ‘junk food’!

We stopped into the Saucy Cow for an early dinner because it was one of just a few fully vegan menu options in the area. Really cool ambiance, great service, and the food was tasty. The portions are giant. Try the Hot Papi, a southern style fried oyster mushroom sandwich with buffalo sauce. Delish!

Pros: Fully vegan menu, Funky ambiance , Great service

Yes guys, I already have my favorite, it calls "The Dzouble Cheeze, it is very good option. I had to eat two. I'm happy to know there is a Brazilian guy in the chicken working.

Pros: Comfortable place, Good options , Taste good

Cons: All staff should be vegan/vegetarian, It could close more later, menu could say what is meat made of(soy, lentil)

Excellent mushroom burger

I’ve been trying to avoid basic burgers on this trip—seems like that’s the default vegan option at omni restaurants, and also the default vegan restaurant—but I had no regrets about this fried mushroom burger. It was surprisingly light tasting, with plenty of pickles and a highly garlicky sauce.

Great comfort food

Loved the The Hot Papi Fries. You get to choose between the soy vegan chicken or the oyster mushrooms.
One basket of loaded fries is definitely enough for one person

Pros: Tasty , Options , Serves alcohol

Cons: Pricy

Best vegan burger

I had The Space Cowboy, and I must say it’s the best vegan Burger I’ve ever had, so meat like in both flavour and texture. Perfect siege for an afternoon smack, and if you add some fries on the side perfect for dinner.

Pros: The texture of the patty, The flavours

Disappointed

I was so looking forward to Saucy Cow Dublin after eating at the branch in Cork but left feeling really disappointed. The chick’n burger was good, nice flavour, a bit of spice and a good texture. The mushrooms are a good flavour and crispy but disintegrate in your mouth, no other texture or mouth feel, sort of turn to dust, they were also very oily and made me feel a little queasy after. The chips were hard and dry. Not the best experience.
