Incredible menu and great choice - Edit
I’ve been to the Queen Inn a few times now and recently visited with 3 friends for the festive menu. We all tried different things on the menu and were blown away by how tasty the food was. In particular, I loved the Mint Choc Cheesecake- it was absolutely delicious! What I love about their menus is that you can tell so much thought has gone into coming up with each dish- as a vegan, it’s common to feel overlooked so it’s great to find a 100% vegan place with so much choice. I thoroughly recommend this place! It’s always worth booking though, especially at the weekend as they’re so popular!

The Queen is just up the road from us and is our favourite local pub, even more so since going vegan. It's amazing to have so much choice in an area where we aren't used to having specific vegan/veggie options. We no longer have to go to Bristol or Cardiff! Also they are amazing with Dogs, our retriever won't walk past without trying to go in.

First time I came here we were running really late and would have missed the cut off for ordering food. We called through to let them know and they very kindly kept the kitchen open for us. The food was amazing and despite us being so late we weren't rushed at all so I vowed I would come back. We have just had a pre christmas dinner there were so many options that we all chose differently and tried each others. We ate like Kings and whilst it's not cheap, the size of the portions and quality of the food we think it's really good value. Its not just dog friendly they are really welcomed in with special treats, blankets and food to order! The only disappointment for me is you are an hour away so we can't come every week.

We have eaten here twice now and it’s always been great! Delicious food, friendly staff and nice atmosphere! It’s like going down the local pub and not having to worry about checking what’s on the menu!

Initially I gave 4 stars, as I assumed everything was vegan. The small bottle of Prosecco I ordered wasn’t. Since returning, the pub is certified as fully vegan and the food is still amazing.

The Queen Inn has a special place in my heart, as it was a birthday gift from a friend to go there, and I got engaged there. The food they serve is very traditional pub food, whilst all vegan now. The types of meat alternatives they have is amazing. Having been vegan nearly 14 years, I can't say the comparison is very recent in my head, but it tastes amazing regardless. Very large portions and super reasonable prices. 100% recommend anyone to go. Mean eaters and vegans alike

Queen inn is about 90 minutes drive from me but worth every minute of travel!! Every classic pub food dish you can imagine but made vegan and absolutely delicious! We have been multiple times now but the surf and turf sharer platter absolutely blew our minds!! Cant wait to see what they do for veganuary!

It's lovely to go to a pub and have SO MUCH CHOICE! They're always changing and challenging new menu ideas which are always tasty, its been a delight to watch them grow as a plant based pub! I feel so lucky to live a 25 min drive! But I promise wherever you're coming from they're worth the trip. From the quaint waterfall and ducklings at their entrance right down to the food; I always leave with a full belly and full heart and happy that they make being plant based so easy! It just shows it can be done.

Last night we had the privilege to dine at The Queen Inn. Whatever you choose on the menu I am sure you won’t be disappointed. We all tried the juicy marbles and the redefined meat. eaten here about 8 times since it went vegan - always had the warmest welcome and fabulous service and the food!!! what can i say - varied menus with something for everyone , always difficult to choose what to have as so much choice - every meal we have had has been delicious and reasonably priced , often leave with a doggy bag as can’t finish the portions and we will be back very soon - vegan food at the highest quality for vegans and non vegans - get booking and see for yourself😄

After being one of the only vegetarians in my primary school in a small welsh town, Cwmbran and then the only Vegan that I knew of in my comprehensive school, again in the small welsh town of Cwmbran. When these guys decided to make the change and go Vegan almost two years ago, it completely changed my life. Having somewhere so close to home that I can eat out at without the risks of cross contamination or mistakes once felt like a wish that would never come true, but it did. The food is incredible, with dishes inspired from many countries and cuisines. The staff and customer service is also incredible, and have now become lifelong friends with many of them.
Read moreI have visited many times, my favourite dishes include the flank and juicy marbles with Diane sauce, the kebab loaded chips and kebab wrap, the Cajun chick’n wrap, Korean cauliflower wings, and crispy chilli beef and their amazing Sunday roast, the cauli cheese and roast potatoes are to die for.
10/10 would recommend all round

This is my favourite pub, despite being about a 4 hour drive away! My third visit is planned for around Christmas and I can’t wait. The food is incredible, they’re proper trailblazers for fully vegan pubs. Would die for the mac and cheese and crispy chilli beef. 1000000/10 🤍

My favourite restaurant - Edit
My mum and I have been vegan for several years. We are lucky enough to live around 20 mins away from this gorgeous pub. We always receive such a warm welcome from the staff. I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad meal here either, everything is always freshly cooked and delicious.

Best pub in the world 💕 - Edit
Set in beautiful surroundings with a mini waterfall, stream and a family of duck’s, this lovely country pub is full of charm, a large outdoor fairy lit seating area and a cosy setting inside. This pub offers a warm welcome from members of staff who give the feel of one big family, once seated I noticed how accommodating for our fury friends it is too with offerings of a dog menu and blankets to keep them snug. The menu is huge and offers something for everyone. Non vegans should not be put off here as this is the most down to earth plant based food that is extremely high quality, well prepared and extremely tasty, in 10 years of being vegan I’ve never found a gem like this and can only dream of this becoming the norm!

A brilliant place for vegans; an oasis in the desert that is Cwmbran. A great pub with pleasant vegan drops, a little restaurant area and a nice covered veranda above a small beer garden downstairs on the street level, adjacent to a lovely little pond.

The Queen Inn do absolutely amazing did - it’s literally a full pub/steakhouse menu, except every single thing is vegan so you don’t have to worry about what you can eat! The menu changes regularly too, with new dishes coming in and they are always open to suggestions for new things for the next one!

We've been to the queen in 3 times now with our 4th booked and 5th already planned! The food here is out of this world delicious and staff are so friendly and welcoming. The price is also brilliant for such quality and huge portions too. We always need a bigger table as we never have room left!
