Excellent food, great, friendly service - Edit
We were in LA for a PCRM event. The Grain Cafe was near by so we stopped in on two occasions for food. We were pleasantly surprised at the options available, full menu served all day. Our first meal we shared a tofu scramble and a berry crepe. Both were delicious and well made. Our second outing featured the Grain breakfast (pancakes, tofu scramble, home fries and sausage) and a Rueben (my wife loves Ruebens). which were super filling and delicious as well. The service was great. Do stop by when you have a chance.

Dessert to Go - Edit
I had the breakfast plate long ago and for the price point, it was not enough, thus I never got it or anything else again except for - dessert. This is the only reason I swing by when the Grain has the mix-berry and/or carrot cake. Just a slice. Not overly sweet and crafted not the break in a million pieces.

Phenomenal Food - Edit
Everything we ordered here was delicious. The bon appetite crepe, huevos de Mexicana, dragon roll, cake, and vanilla lattes. The service here was amazing as well. Our waitress was quick, considerate, and helped us pick out food choices.

Amazing Vegan Food - Edit
We absolutely loved this restaurant! The soup, the Chili Relleno, the Torta and the Coconut cake were so tasty. Who says the eating plant based has to be bland?

Good vegan food and bakery - Edit
This place used to be one of my favorite vegan restaurants but I think they keep changing their recipes. Every time I come in my favorite items have been changed and everything tastes different. Still good food though, and a great place if you don’t know how they used to make the food. I personally just miss the recipes from a few years ago. Also the cakes are soo good!

They have an amazing menu, and it’s all plant based! We had breakfast here, the huevos con chorizo and French toast. Both out of this world. And the drink menu is killer! We got a hot maca drink and a brunch cocktail and they were taaaasty

The options are great, with plenty of Mexican meals made like homemade style. Full bar, desserts, community vibe, outdoor seating covered in the parking lot. Great service too. This place is a gem!

Big menu - Edit
We were visiting from out of town & blown away by how extensive the menu was. We ordered a bunch of different items just to try them out! Brought my mother here who has a nut allergy & our waiter was excellent at helping us navigate the menu. Bonus, our oat milk lattes had cute foam art 💖

We had items off the Oaxacan menu and they were meh. The wet burrito was uninspired. So sad. I heard this place was great. Maybe it was a bad afternoon.

More than grains!! - Edit
We chose to dine at The Grain Café for my moms birthday & it did NOT disappoint. They have a full blown menu from breakfast to lunch & dinner & even baked goods!! My non-vegan mom had the dragon roll & said it was better than the “real” thing, my partner said the falafel was delicious (his only critique was that it could’ve been spread more evenly inside the wrap), & I thoroughly enjoyed my chorizo torta with no complaints! Would definitely recommend.

This vegan café is so good, it is delicious, things are fresh including their amazing hot sauce and salsas. The waitresses are kind and helpful and it never seems to be overcrowded, they have huge lattes and Morongo and juices, along with a huge and varied menu, From scrambles to burritos to pancakes.

LOTS of options (lunch, dinner, brunch). The chilaquiles were delicious. The breakfast plate (“The Grain”) was really yummy too. Outdoor seating available, but parking can be tough. Friendly staff. Food and my latte were not as hot as I would’ve preferred, and it took a while to get our bill. Not a huge deal; food definitely made up for it. Will be coming back! Came with non-vegans and they loved it too.

All Aboard the Grain Train! - Edit
I ordered "The Grain," which includes pancakes, tofu scramble, hash browns, and sausage. The pancakes were fluffy, but I think the syrup isn't "real" maple. The tofu scramble was flavorful. The hash browns were bland and softer than I prefer. The sausages are two tiny links, but they're tasty. The butter (and my partner's whipped cream) was served in a plastic container, but the ketchup was not, so I'm hoping they just ran out of dishes.

When I ordered delivery the box was sideways and it was scrambled together. Then when I ate it the waffles weren’t the best and I wasn’t a big fan of it but the sausages and the tofu scramble was pretty good.

Vegan Crepes! - Edit
I was so surprised by this place! Fully vegan menu, caring staff, and all tucked away in a little strip mall. I had the tropical crepe with all its fruity goodness and a side of sausages. The sausages were expensive for their tiny size, but they were just like typical sausage at a breakfast buffet, and there are some creature comforts from childhood that you do miss as a vegan. Love this place!
