Amazing find in Florence - Edit
We found this place by chance when we took an alternative path to our hotel. I must say this was quite a find!
Read moreThe place offers a menu with vegetarian versions of Chinese food (after asking the waiter, he said that everything was vegan actually).
The food is very exotic but very delicious (a meal I ordered with eggplants was out of this world).
The only drawback is that a lot of meals on the menu were unavailable.

We went here for our first dinner in Florence. The restaurant is not very large, so the atmosphere is very familiar. The waiter who served us was really nice and friendly, so a plus point on that. Not all meals on the menu were available, but there was plenty of choose anyway. The portions are of a good size, so you don’t risk leaving hungry at all. The restaurant is listed as vegetarian but I think most of the dishes are vegan. Overall a nice experience and I think we will come back.

In due abbiamo preso il taro in foglia di tofu fritto, il seitan nero al cumino, l'hotpot di verdure piccante e il tris di ravioli. Tutto buonissimo, il taro (che non conoscevo) e il seitan mi sono piaciuti veramente tantissimo.

We visited twice. The tofu in spicy sauce a.k.a. Mapo tofu was excellent! The seitan in mixed vegetables was delicious also. If you’re craving some flavor, spice and veggies in Florence, this restaurant will hit the spot. Definitely make a reservation though because they get very busy.

We ordered 3 different dishes/ sauces, and they were all way too spicy for our kids to eat. So they ended up just eating rice and soy sauce. Us adults could eat it. But even if we are used to spicy food our mouths burned. And they did not have childrens menus.

It’s very affordable and loads of value for money. It’s kind of a messy place, not dirty just messy. The staff was nice although not very attentive.

One of the best vegan spots in Florence - Edit
After having our fill of Italian classics, we were in the mood for something different and tried this place. What a breath of fresh air. Don’t listen to the few people on here that wrote bad reviews—they’re clueless. Fantastic food and hospitality. Dishes were handmade, fresh, and served quickly. When I say family-run, I mean the type of place where grandma is happily sitting in the back working on vegetables and dumplings. Could not recommend this place more. 5/5

Anyone writing good reviews of this place has never tried decent Asian food. The place is unhygienic. Our chopsticks were dirty or dusty. The service is abysmal. The food is mediocre, when it isn’t just greasy and bad. Between the loooooong wait, bad food and lack of hygiene, I would never suggest this place. On top of it, reassurances that everything was vegan (considering the tea is not) were hardly reliable and seemed just attempts to avoid spending time explaining. If everything is vegan, why say vegetarian? There are no symbols, nor explanations or ingredients in the menu, which is borderline illiterate both in Italian and in English (aside from being filthy). Horrible.

Menu is a waste of time but the food makes up for it - Edit
Be prepared that the menu is terrible and when you do eventually choose the waitress will recommend something different. We chose 3 dishes and they said they didn't have any of the available. The waitress offered us advice on suitable alternatives. We got one of the seitan dishes and an aubergine dish. WOW! The food was incredible. The portions were big and the flavours were great. I was slightly torn with the menu being so bad I was sure I would have to rate this lower but the food was so good it is impossible not to give a 5.
