It is as good as everyone is raving about - Edit
Legitimately cool concept and a great place to pick up vegan deli food and take somewhere nearby like the park 2 blocks away. It’s good. Worth the trip as a tourist to this part of Melbourne. Had the egg McMuffin and the vegemite scroll and Both were great!
Read morePros: Good good food , Easy to grab and go, So many vegan options

Best Sandwiches - Edit
Every single damn time I come here I am never disappointed. Best sandwiches ever. 100% recommend. Lots of vegan sandwiches, toasties, pastries, ready meals, drinks, groceries and frozen stuff to buy. It gets busy and sometimes you have to wait awhile. There is also no seating here.

Unbelievably Good Food - Edit
We would like a Smith & Deli restaurant in every city of the world, please! The first time we went, we were disappointed that most of the freshly made food was gone or unavailable by 3:30pm. But in saying that, the food was DELICIOUS when we came back a different day, at 2pm. We had the Maury Ballstein (meatball sub) and the Rocky (philly cheese steak). We also bought some doughnuts to bring home, as well as some packaged peanut butter cups that I’ve only ever found online! This place was just great, absolutely worth 5 stars, and everyone should try it, vegan or not!

Vegan Heaven! - Edit
This place is a Mecca for vegans. I got donuts, the best croissant ever (only food I missed going vegan) and a ‘not’ tuna patty which I had with salad for dinner. Amazing! Not to mention lovely staff who are more than happy to help you with any questions you may have! Will defs be back! 🙌🏼

Vegan Paradise - Edit
Smith & Deli are the best. Nobody else compares.
Read moreFrom their menu, I have tried the Truffle Shuffle, The Wiggum, The Mensch and As-Salami-Lakum. All have been consistently INCREDIBLE but especially the Wiggum, which is so full of flavour and texture, and the Truffle Shuffle, which is an effortlessly delicious classic.
Their iced coffees are also great, and they know their way about non-dairy milk, so there is the guarantee that their drinks are always well-made. Their rotating goodies in the counter are always delicious, especially the rosemary and choc chip cookies, which are incredible.
Smith & Deli have customer service like no other; all of their staff are so kind and friendly, and it is no wonder that these legends and their amazing vegan food are adored by so many.
Pros: Amazing customer service, Delicious food, Great coffee

Great sandwiches - Edit
Satisfying portions, balanced and well thought out combinations, Smith and Deli provide delicious things that may be more challenging to make at home/ eat as a vegan. I loved the Mensch- salmon bagel with the lot, made with watermelon as the smoked salmon. Really delicious, the flavour was really authentic. Also enjoyed their ravioli to take which was in freshly made to take home that in the fridge section.

Great deli - Edit
Lots of vegan sandwich and bagel options as well as heaps of stuff to buy. Great to have some toasted sandwiches that are vegan. Deli range is pretty extensive although that’s not the main focus. Downsides are loud music and expensive.

A must visit in Melbourne! - Edit
I was too early for lunch but I managed to score a sausage roll, bacon/sausage/egg McMuffin and a grilled ham and cheese sandwich. All of them were absolutely fantastic, especially the grilled ham and cheese sandwich. Amazing vegan comfort food! Staff were lovely and friendly and price is reasonably.
