Superb dining experience! We had the degustation- they said it was 4 courses but there were about 3 plates per course with one plate to share for dessert between 2 people. Really impressed with the food and ambience and service, such a wonderful dining experience. It was $95 per head. Considering they make their own cheeses and creams and the quality of the food i believe it was worth the price. We were so full too and struggled to fit in the dessert even though the tiramisu was delicious. The wine was also very nice and the wait staff were very attentative and made is feel very welcome.

We went here prior to covid. Cute corner shop with fun ambiance! Community seating at some tables. We ordered the pasta with meatballs and the tiramisu. The pasta sauce and noodles were tasty, but we could have done without the meatballs. The texture was a bit soft and we didn't love the flavor. The tiramisu was good! We'd go back to try something different.

Read moreThe food is inventive, interesting and a real showcase of plant-based goodness. While I love mock meat, I'd definitely recommend tucking into the vegetable dishes, as they are unlike what you get anywhere else.
The meals at home they did during lockdown were inspired and a real joy to cook and eat.
I don't know why people are upset in some of the reviews that Shannon Martinez isn't vegan. She has never claimed to be. She showcases and celebrates plant-based food across both her 'Smith &' businesses and provides so many opportunities to learn about vegan food through her Instagram. She's one of the biggest supporters of the community and her venue is all vegan, why should we care if she is?

Known as the home of the Queen of Vegan food herself, Shannon's menu is just divine. The Ragu and Vodka Meatballs have been the stand out dishes that I have tried but everything has been fantastic! Its a busy spot so make sure you book a table, the staff are super friendly and the vibe is just right for that quirky alternative feel mashed together with an fancy restaurant.
