I’ve only been to the one in Cologne before but this one is equally as good. Always has a great assortment of different dishes and the prices are also fair in my opinion. Just make sure not to overeat 😂

Read moreNachteil: führt bei so einigen zu großen, unansehnlichen "Essensbergen" und evtl. auch zu Foodwaste wenn der Berg nicht bezwungen werden kann. Mich persönlich stresst zu viel unterschiedliches auf dem Teller und ich fände ein Bezahlen nach Gewicht besser, lieber öfter gehen und wirklich nach Appetit essen. Dann sind die Augen nicht größer als der Magen und ich habe nicht ein Soßenmischmasch. Sonst mega!

So many different dishes to choose from, and they all taste great. There were some nice dessert cakes to choose from as well. Great location.
Read moreI would personally prefer if one could take multiple times from the buffet rather than trying to pile everything at once on a single plate, as after a while all the flavors meld together (of course the business model with multiple plate sizes would not work anymore).

Sattgrün's vegan buffet concept is just amazing! So much choice and such tasty food! Whenever I go to one of their outlets (Düsseldorf, Essen, Cologne), it's a highlight for me! I seriously wish they would expand further south, outside of NRW! This particular Sattgrün is also in a nice location near the Rhein river and you can sit outside, so I might like it a bit better than the one in Mitte.

Three soups, and a long cold/hot buffet of exclusively vegan dishes to load your plate from. Nice, fresh flavours, but there's a risk of creating a weird mix if one's not careful. The dishes are not changing often, but it's really hard to sample everything in one visit. Soya medallions are my all-time favourite. Also, a great selection of vegan cakes!

Since I was last there, the arrangement inside has been changed - now you can't miss the soup station anymore - but the food was just as good as usual. I was full after a medium-sized plate, so I didn't eat any more cake, which was usually very good, too - sweet and mighty.

Easily reachable from the center (pleasant 25-minute walk), the buffet and cakes are delicious and diverse; you can sit outside and it’s super cosy! 100% recommended!

This place is awesome. Lots of healthy, hearty options available on the buffet. You choose the bowl size and then add everything hot and/or cold that you want to it. I went in January when they had a Veganuary offer to get a slight discount on one of the bowls. As you can see from my photograph, I ended up filling my bowl to the max. 😂 It was a struggle to eat everything. The food I chose ranged from okay to really good. I also took a cake to eat in the evening, which I didn’t find very impressive. I’d like to come back here if I’m in the area again, particularly as I didn’t find many other great options in Düsseldorf.

The late opening hour was very handy for us as we were on a road trip. And not only did they have food at 10 pm but their full selection was available! Amazing! The food was of the usual Sattgruen quality, however, some things were a bit too salty for my girlfriend. They really made our evening tho...

The food in this place is amazing. Great value for money. You play for a plate size and then fill up from a delicious and vast array of interesting and varied foods. I wanted to try everything. I think they have branches in Cologne, Dusseldorf and Essen so all in NRW-am really hoping they open a place in Munich (near me).
