Cesar Salad with saitan chicken is delish - Edit
Very much enjoyed this dish on my first visit. So much in fact that I ordered it again the next day via UberEats and this time with garlic bread on the side. Wow. Seriously more ish 😋

I don’t know why that second photo with the sweet corn dish uploaded here. I’m sure I didn’t select it. It’s actually from a different place in WLG called Sweet Release Cakes. I can’t seem to remove it from this review. Please ignore.

Definitely the best Italian vegan meal I’ve had - Edit
The vegan “meats” was probably the highlight of this meal, the grilled chicken on top of the Caesars Salad was a perfect replica, the Italian sausage was similarly authentic tasting.
Read moreEverything else was top quality as well - the pizza base was excellent and the pasta tasted more like fresh (i.e. with egg) than dried pasta.
I’d highly recommend it as the top vegan choice in Wellington from what I sampled.
Pros: All vegan menu, Nice atmosphere, Outdoor seating (if Wellington weather allows)

Best vegan food in Welly - Edit
Oh gosh, all I can say is Thank you so much for providing not only the most delicious vegan food but somewhere that was warm on a cold Wellington night and such excellent service. Couldn't rate this palce high enough. The pizza dough was perfect and the in house made cheese on the pizza, delicious. The artichoke dish was sooo good. The cocktails were delicious. Everything we had was delicious. We could have licked the plates. The service staff were fabulous and greeted us warmly as we entered the door. We couldn't fault the place at all. Wish we were staying in Wellington longer so we could eat here again.

The pizza dough they make is just the best, they also make some vegan anchovies which deserve a 10/10.

From Lords to Lorde - Edit
Let me tell you, this is a great place with exquisite food and a vibrant atmosphere. Vegan Italian is arguably some of the best food on the planet. We shared a paperdelle pomodoro pasta richly infused with a delicious tomato sauce and a seitan chicken pizza topped with cashew mozzarella and smoked cheddar cheese. The South Island Pinot Grigio we picked to have with the food was fantastic. You wouldn’t find a wine of this quality being exported to the Brexit-ridden UK or probably anywhere else for that matter. It was so good here we visited a second time a few days later and had the ravioli and cannelloni dishes which were preposterously divine. A place like this will stay in your memories for a very long time.

Great Margarita Pizza - Edit
Lovely place to go for dinner with family and friends. I really enjoyed the margarita pizza, and desert was good, although part was uncooked. Pretty solid.

Amazing Italian restaurant! - Edit
The Staff were so welcoming and friendly and the quality of food exceptional.
Read moreWe tried as many dishes on the menu as possible during our few days in Wellington (it’s a tough job but someone has to do it!), including the Tartufo pizza (incredible dough base) and Tuscan Alfredo (pasta at its best). Also the ‘chicken’ Parma sandwich, Reuben burger and Hash Stack. The flavours were all amazing. The dessert menu also blew me away. The cannoli was to die for!

We have very much enjoyed our time at Nolita and were glad that we came early as it got very busy even on a Monday night. Best to book a table in advance. The food was awesome and we loved the big choice of different dishes. Check the photos to see for yourself ;)

It’s very rare for Vegan restaurants to make a really good pasta - Nolita is doing it right! Great idea to do 100% Vegan italian food… with a twist. My partner had a Burger and it was also very good. Would recommend!

Imaginative, gourmet, tasty vegan dishes and great service - Edit
It was a hard choice between one of the eight mains and eleven starters, or one of the nine tempting pizzas. We opted for the sourdough garlic flatbread (the same bread as the pizza crust) to take the edge off while we waited for our pollo and tartufo pizzas. Both pizzas were tasty and well-prepared, with vegetables still crisp, sauces tangy and good, seitan pleasantly chewy, and nut-based cheeses creamy and comforting, as in comfort food. Good beer selection, too. My other half's birthday, and tradition called for a chocolate dessert. The tiramisu brownie hit the spot. We'll be back to try some of the other enticing items on the menu. Lively young crowd and decent café-style atmosphere.

Vegan Italian done well - Edit
I was a bit skeptical at first when I heard about this place but it definitely held its own against my expectations. In my experience vegan cheese is terrible but they seemed to get it right somehow. The pasta was a bit rich but the stack was solid.

Not up to expectations - Edit
I don’t know if I’m just going off pizza but I wasn’t really that impressed by my meal here. We came for lunch with an old friend and ordered the pollo and the tartufo variety. While the mushroom on the tartufo was a bit tastier than the other, I found neither of them absolutely delicious. I also finished my friends polenta sticks and just found them dry and unappetising, no matter how much I dipped them in the salsa rosa. The staff were friendly and helpful, and regularly but not intrusively checked we were taken care of. I would like to come back and try the dinner menu, maybe have a cocktail, but in the meantime I’m not really that excited.
