Nice variety but pricey - Edit
Great local vegan option! Pricier than some other offerings but the ingredients are high quality (delicious buns, quinoa patties and other ingredients including fresh avocado on some of the burgers). That said they also weren’t willing to tell me what brand cheese they were using for their pepper jack a few years ago when I was hoping to find some myself, which I found a little odd since most vegans I know are happy to share that kind of thing. I understand it’s a business, but you do get the sense maybe that next level is more about being “plant based” than they are vegan … oh well. Food is still good and everything is vegan so that’s a 5 star rating from me!

I ordered the caesar salad with a side of fries and was pretty disappointed with the salad — I’ve had much better at multiple other veg restaurants. The dressing was super meh and the crunch that makes a caesar good just wasn’t there. The fries were good and my brother liked his burger. Shakes are also good here, but overall it’s pretty pricey for the quality. Better quality then Veggie Grill but that’s about it.

I have had my fair share of vegan burgers and these are definitely some of the best. I had the fish less burger, and special fries while my boyfriend had the super stacked chick’n burger and tater tots. All of our food was delicious. The fishless burger was so good, and maybe the best vegan fish burger I have ever had. We also tried multiple sauces just for fun and the blue cheese and “hunny” mustard were very good as well. We got take out this time but next time I can’t wait to try the milkshakes. Highly recommend! #Veganuary

The food here is generally really good -- I highly recommend their burgers and shakes. Unfortunately fries are separate, which is ok of course, but they are expensive and honestly not very good. Even the sweet potato fries are soggy, and the regular fries taste like frozen mass-produced stuff - some seasoning helps though. However, their specialty dishes with fries like the cheese fries and chilli fries are quite good, but I don't recommend getting regular fries without embellishments. Prices are really high -- you'll easily spend at least $20 here on just a burger and fries, so make sure you're really craving a good burger!

Best shakes ever! - Edit
I'll never admit how many shakes I've bought from Next Level. All vegan. You can choose soy or coconut base. I always find an excuse to be near and pop in and get a shake. I seriously think of their shakes all the time! The burgers are good too. Pretty expensive though for just a burger. Fries are extra / separate. Burger and a shake will cost you $20. But still love to support this place. If you get the App, they're good about sending you $1 off coupons. If you're like me and get shakes regularly, consider asking for no (plastic) lid! I keep a couple lids in a ziplock in my car and bring one in to the store with me so I'm not wasting the plastic lid. (Same with the straw!)

Mainly go here for the milkshakes. Wide variety of milkshakes. Love them! My favorites are orange cream and strawberry; both with half soy/half coconut base.

I’m not really into “healthier” accoutrements on burgers/chick’n sandwiches like mixed greens or wheat buns. If I’m going out for fast food, I want it to be with a regular bun and romaine or iceberg.
The milkshakes make up for everything though!

I’ve had a LOT of good vegan burgers over the last few years and the ones from here are no exception. They are great and a good price. They have a good selection and you can customise your order if you don’t want certain items or add certain items (such as cheeze) if you want to.

Vegan Fast Food Worth Flying Across the Country - Edit
My partner and I are in Seattle for a little while and went out of our way to stop in and try this place. It is situated in a Whole Foods but independent of WFM. 100% plant based, fast food style junk/comfort food. The staff was friendly and the menu had an exciting variety of burgers, sandwiches, and fries, not to mention delicious shakes (soy or coconut milk).

Everything was good. The shake came with an astoundingly wide straw but it came in handy because the shake was thick and indulgent. We ate ourselves stuffed and would absolutely do it again.

We eat at NLB regularly. We like that they keep coming up with new menu items and that they accommodate substitutions (my husband likes to get a double patty on many of the burgers). One of the employees is alway super friendly when we go in, but unfortunately I haven’t learned his name yet. Love that there are some pretty healthy burger options.

There isn’t anything on their menu that won’t leave you happy! The bbq bleu chz burger and the chili chz fries are my most favorite gateway to a food coma🤤 The crinkle fries solo are a staple! The shakes are phenomenal. All the flavor, none of the guilt.

Next Level has the BEST shakes, and absolutely excellent burgers and brats. They have several healthy options on top of offering beyond products. The service is always super friendly, the location is convenient, and I love how many options you have in the way your food is prepared: e.g. baked or fried tots or fries, and a choice of base in your shake.

The burgers are pretty good, but what we really go of our way to come here for is the milkshakes. We have a running ranked list of vegan milkshakes from our travels in the states, and this near the top of our list. It's a good thing milkshake weather doesn't last very long in Seattle, or we'd be spending way too much on these pricey indulgences!

I can’t say enough great things about Next Level. We first visited this place in Bend, OR and fell in love! The Seattle location did not disappoint. We had the All American cheeseburger, tater tots, and the best vegan chocolate milkshake out there! Highly recommended!
