Cakes not what they used to be

They changed the recipes for their cakes. The carrot cake is not longer like it was before. It's quite soggy and moist and they've become really stingy with the amount of cream/ice cream that comes with it. What used to be closer to a scoop is now a tea spoon. I struggled to finish it.

Their chai latte is good tho. I would do dessert elsewhere. Im sure their food is a-okay.

Pros: vegan desserts

Delicious and good value

1380 yen (1520 tax included) per person for a yummy buffet with vegan naan, rice, 4 curries, and some salads and sides. Lots of seating and all you can eat! All vegetarian and vegan options are clearly marked. Also an a la carte menu if you prefer.

Pros: All vegetarian, All you can eat, Good value

Fantastic food

So good I came back a second time while I was on holiday in Japan. The 'naan burger' had quite possibly the best tasting mock meat I've ever had. The lassi was also very tasty and refreshing.

Pros: Excellent food

Indian buffet in Tokyo

A buffet and Indian food - how can it go wrong? The food was pretty great (didn’t blow my mind but good nonetheless) and was in a buffet. The naan is vegan (so good) but lacked a big kick.

Milan Nataraj

I have eaten at two Nataraj locations and it just does not disappoint. Both Nataraj locations I had been to were large compared to the typical size of Japanese restaurants, so it's easier to dine with others or groups. This location is in BUSY Shibuya, so if you prefer a calmer experience, go to the Ginza location--I also think the Ginza location is nicer.

What I really love about Nataraj is that green VEGAN NAAN they make. Yes, I said it...VEGAN NAAN. It's almost impossible to find vegan naan at any restaurant and Nataraj has really worked some magic with this one...it's actually pretty phenomenal.

Aside from the naan, I ordered my usually entree, Aloo Gobi. I ordered this very spicy and it was pretty good but it didn't really stand out from other places I had been (this applies to both Nataraj locations). However, the winner here is the vegan naan...so delicious.

Hooray for there being vegan options at this vegetarian Indian restaurant.

Beautiful, tasty food, great environment, just somewhat expensive

Amazing looking naan, delicious (vegan!) mango lassi, and nice curries. But small portions for the price, both drink and food wise, and the curries are plenty tasty, but for the price expect just a bit more. Can definitely see myself going back, but maybe more for a fancy light lunch once in a while

Weekday Lunch Buffet is a great deal!

Offers many different vegan curries. The weekday lunch buffet is only 1100¥ including tax, great deal! The vegan naan is very good! Naan, 3 vegan curries, salad with vegan dressing is included in the buffet. All you can eat in 90 minutes! Great service!

Cons: Not all vegan.

Nice Indian Vegan Restaurant

I walked there from Shibuya Station with my google maps. Quiet far but it’s ok for haunting a Vegan Restaurant. Keep going and hopefully a lots more Japan Vegan Restaurant will open in the future. Gambattee!!

Pros: Most is curry dishes,, Few options with Non Garlic/Onion, Credit Card accepted

Sly

Food was ok but waitress got my order wrong and then charged me for the incorrect dish which was more expensive. She made no attempt at letting me know she was charging me that. She put the bill down in a very sly manor and then ran off. She realised that my order wasn’t right after 10 minutes of me sitting there waiting and ran over and re-confirmed that it was wrong.
It felt very sly and disrespectful to make the customer pay for the waitresses mistake. Probably won’t go back. Food was just ok. Felt like an attempt at Indian food as apposed to authentic Indian food.

Pros: Lots of vegan options

Cons: Will overcharge you if they can

Good Indian food

Nice Indian food with only vegetarian and vegan meals. The staff is really friendly and the dishes we had where really tasty.
I only give four stars because it's somewhat expensive (like most restaurants in Tokyo).

Pros: Very good naan, Many dishes to choose from, Friendly

Cons: Somewhat expensive

Lifesaver when other options were closed

Got to Ain Soph too late, no room at Stand By Farm, found this thanks to Happy Cow and very grateful for tasty curries (pumpkin- not spicy and lentil and spinach - nicely spicy), flatbread, rice and beer. On an upper floor like many places in Tokyo but clearly marked on street.

Pros: Open late , Nice limited selection- not too much choice!, Good healthy brown rice

Lunch buffet was phenomenal!

I went to the lunch buffet with my omni husband and we were both blown away by the food and service. There were four curries (3 vegan, 1 vegetarian), rice, naan (1 vegan, 1 vegetarian), pakoras, chutneys, a leafy salad, and two dressings (both vegan). Everything was clearly marked as vegan or containing milk. There was a sign telling us to "eat as much as you can" which I found charming and welcoming. Actually, I went back three times 🤣 Amazing food and wonderful staff.

Pros: Lots of clearly marked vegan options, Excellent value for money, Friendly staff

Good Curry

I enjoy that the restaurant is vegetarian and conveniently located by the station (nice street overlook seating), but I felt the portions were small for the price and average in flavor. I would be curious to come for the buffet and try a dessert. They looked nice!

Great Indian food

Went for lunch: buffet is ¥1500 and the place was quiet. 3 out of 4 curries on offer were vegan, as were the naan and a couple side dishes.
There's a vegan dessert but didn't try it.

The buffet wasn't huge but it was delicious. Will try again for dinner.

Pros: Vegan naan !, Delicious food

Tasty but pricey

The restaurant is amazing, the food is really good, a bit too busy and few waiters, and also clean. Unfortunately I feel the dishes were to pricey. Payed 3,350 Yen for two dishes and one naan. It would have been worth if they were bigger. Also it seems they use organic vegetables and they are expensive in Japan, so if you can afford it, I recommend it, otherwise try finding a cheaper option.

Pros: Tasty, Clean, Healthy

Cons: Expensive

Great for allergies

I’m allergic to onions and coconut, and they already had a special no-onion-no-garlic menu!

Pros: no onion no garlic menu, most things can be made vegan

Cons: limited english
