LOVED this place!

We arrived after the kitchen had been without power on a Saturday afternoon. They let us order drinks (nice selection of beers on tap). When the kitchen was back up & running, we ordered a verity of burgers, YUMMY. The food was out to us in 15 minutes. Loved the food and actually were impressed with the service. We plan to go back!

Pros: Excellent, tasty food that is ALL vegan! YEA!!, Friendly environment

Fantastic New Menu

I love Meet. I come here at least once a week because the food is so great. Tasty and always hits the spot. Be sure to opt for sitting outside if you do not want to sit inside with all the noise.

Pros: Great food, Good price

Cons: Mediocre service, Junk food, Loud/noisy

I bring my carnist friends all the time

I love meet on main. I go here all the time. I bring literally all my friends here. Incedibly friendly service, and some of the most indulgent vegan comfort food. Try the angry burg with chao cheese if you like spicy, the fries are the best in town. Or, try the mac n cheese ADD chili! If you do have room for dessert (which is honestly rare, the portions are huge), get the coco cronut ;) My fave place to meet.

Pros: indulgent/delicious vegan comfort food, Wide arrange of vegan options, friendly service!

Cons: Service is a little slow

Favourite place for vegan comfort food

Their burgers are so delicious I've barely tried anything else on the menu (their double bacon 'cheese'burger is outstanding!), but my friends say that some of their other menu items are equally as delicious. Desserts are top quality too...great casual dining place!

Pros: Delicious vegan comfort food, Great variety of dessert options

Cons: Can get extremely loud, Usually have to wait for a place to sit

bland

What I ordered was so bland, I could have made it better with my eyes closed. Overall completely underwhelmed by my entire experience there.

Comfort food at its best

I am glad to see Meet On Main doing so well that they now have a Gastown location, too.
Hands down, the best vegan comfort food in Vancouver. Portions are hefty, I always end up with a to-go box.
I tried most things on their menu and they are really good, the only thing that I was not a fan of is the Angry burger (too spicy). Also, I am really happy with their drink selection. As a vegan, you can rarely find vegan creamy coffee with liquor or a vegan Caesars at regular bars and restaurants. Whenever I go to Meet, I always get one of their veganized drinks and they taste as delicious as their food.

Pros: Tasty, Friendly staff, Vegan drinks

Cons: Lineups

Would Try Again

I went here for lunch and ordered the Seoul Bowl. I was excited because I've heard a lot about this place, but honestly was a little underwhelmed. The design is pleasant and the staff were really friendly, but I found the bowl really salty without much other flavour. I'd go back to try something else on the menu, but it didn't quite live up to what I thought it would. Also on a side note, the music inside was too loud for me personally.

Pros: Fully vegan, Friendly staff

Cons: Too salty

Tasty Vegan Meals and Friendly Service! Definitely Eat Here!

I ate lunch at Meet on Main on my last day in Vancouver and thoroughly enjoyed my experience there. I ordered the Beet Salad and it was scrumptious and filling. The portion sizes were very generous.

There was lots of seating inside the restaurant and I enjoyed the window seats looking out to Main Street. My server was also very friendly, prompt and professional and I liked the funky and unique decor around the interior of the restaurant.

I loved that the entire menu was vegan and the majority of their dishes were also gluten-free. There was a wide variety of menu offerings to choose from (appetizers, bowls, salads, burgers, fries and more) and everything sounded delicious.

I look forward to coming back to eat here again when I visit Vancouver next time!

Pros: Delicious Vegan Food, Friendly Service

Cons: Nothing

Eat Here!

Food was great! I think this was the first time I had to wait to eat at a Vegan restaurant. 30 minutes or so!! It reminded me of the old days several years ago before switching to vegan waiting to be seated blah blah blah what I'm trying to say it is it's good to see so many people interested in vegan food. Also, I never go for the mock burgers but I was impressed with the ones here. Good stuff all around.

Meet Me There Every Day

It's (one of) the first places we stop before and after our border crossing. It's amazing. Great service; goofy old movies on a tiny tube tv; cool art; and most of all: destination-worthy eats. Go here.

Vegan Comfort food!

We first tried the location in Gastown, which is equally as good. Our friends that we were visiting in Vancouver had no idea that vegan food was so interesting and good, and just around the corner. It was an eye-opener for them! The desert of the day was a coconut cronut...omg it was so good! The croissant was coated in cinnamon sugar and filled with coconut cream...I almost died. Everything that was being brought to the other tables looked amazing too, especially the pad thai.

Pros: So much choice!, Epic desserts

Changing minds one meal at a time.

I probably don't have to write a review for this place cause it speaks for itself.

Comfort food galore. This is probably the place you bring your friends who think vegan/vegetarian food is all bland. Nope.

Take them here. Change their minds.

Pros: Amazing food, Great overall

Highly highly recommend!

This place was amazing :) My bf and I had dinner here tonight, and it really met up to all the hype!
For appetizer, we had the sweet - chilli cauliflower. I really liked it, but my bf thought it was a little too sweet. He's more of a tart, lemon flavoured person though.
For our meals, I had the Meet Burger and my bf had the "Bacon" burger. I loved how mine had a bit of a bite to it. The burgers are served with fries and a small salad, so we were stuffed by the time we finished. I did however really want to try their desserts, and thought if we were too full, we didn't have to finish or at least pack it to go. My bf ordered the raspberry, chocolate, and pecan crumble, and I had the Cheez cake :) I kid you not, that cheeze cake was amazing! Despite being super full after dinner, I was practically licking my plate! The texture and taste was spot on. I highly highly recommend this place.

Pros: delicious food, reasonably priced, great atmosphere. We were here in spring, so all t

Cons: none!

SO SO SO GOOD

Meet on Main is my current favourite vegan and gluten free restaurant. I have taken some friends to the Main location and I'm bringing some tonight to the new Gastown location. I cannot emphasize enough how good their comfort food selection is. From the mac n "cheese" to their one of a kind plant based burger options you will not be disappointed! 10/10 would recommend!

Pros: fabulous service, amazing menu, nice atmosphere

Yummy AF

The place packed when we got there and I was sure we'd have to wait forever to get it but it only took about 5 minutes. We ordered the Chiggin Things to start, they were to die for. I had a vegan burger it do good, to faux feta cheese was amazing! I would highly recommend Meet if you're in Vancouver.

Excellent Vegan Burgers

Vancouver seems to have some of the best vegan burgers in the world. this is the latest veg restaurant to specialize in veg burgers, and they gave done an outstanding job.

the people who work here are very friendly and helpful, and the service is perfect. My sandwich was presented to me in what seemed like a few minutes.

I ordered a vegan burger with vegan cheese, fries and a pesto salad with zucchini. Everything was delicious.

I have heard it can be tough to get a table at night, so you might want to call ahead if you are in any sort of rush.

You cannot miss this place when you drive by, as there is a really cool retro revolving sign in the front.

Be sure to tell them you are vegan.

Pros: great vegan burgers, great service, cool decor

mostly vegan!

It's a great restaurant! I got the mac'n cheese and was quite satisfying with it! The portion filled me up and the price is quite reasonable for the amount you get! The place is kinda small and it was pretty busy, so it was kinda hard to have a gonnd conversation because of a lot of noise. I didn't ask if all the desert were vegan, since on their menu they state that everything is vegan unless said otherwise... I don't know if it's applicable to the desert card?? Good experience and would go back!
